I prefer to generate bitcoin address in my offline computer using bitaddress source code, trusting any online paper wallet generator can be risky.

This looks more like a gimmick to me. They are just promoting thier wallets. I think the existence ones do a good job, like blockchain or coinbase and if you have the key it makes more sense to use this rather anything else. I hope I am correct or If I am missing out on something please add, so that I learn what I missed out.

Im thinking the same thing too on which this is somehow like a promotion for their paper wallet.Same as your i would not tend to use their service because exposing your source code online is really risky because someone already knows your code and its better to do it offline.

Generating a paper wallet online, would just be a mistake. It will be much better if you download the source code from Github and then just

copy it on a air-gapped computer or a old computer that you will not use on the internet. You have to remember that your computer might be

compromised by Malware that records all your activities. < Even when you offline > and also grabs cached information that were send to your

printers buffer. So this method might look easy, but it is the most insecure way to do it. I create all my paper wallets on a old computer &

printer, that will never be used on the internet again.  These computers can be picked up for next to nothing.

No matte how many paper wallets you make, you can never trust 100% that you will keep physical stuff safe. Sometimes it's better to have digital copies too. Encrypty bitcoin core wallet.dat into a rar or 7z file, a password strong enough that you can remember, and upload it on several places. Nobody will ever care about a random compressed file and you will have that file backed up in several different places just in case your house gets hit by a tsunami or something.
