SnapCoin relaunch

SnapCoin (SNP) died in 2014 and is now relaunched. We are planning to make SnapCoin the one and only coin that has a camera integrated in the wallet so that pictures can be stored, distributed and sold through the blockchain.

Specifications:
PoW 5 per block halving each 500000 blocks
PoS minimum time is 2 hours
PoS 2.5 SNAP per block
Block time 90 seconds
TX fee 0.0001 SNAP
MasterNode collateral: 5000 SNAP
MasterNode gets 50% of PoS
Maximum of 5 million PoW blocks
Encrypted messages
TOR
Stealth addresses
RPC: 26565
P2P: 26566

Wallet download
Windows: https://github.com/SnapCoin/SnapCoin/releases/download/v1.0.0.0-relaunch/SnapCoin-qt.zip
Github: https://github.com/SnapCoin/SnapCoin/

Exchange
Soon on Yobit

Roadmap
Mobile wallets
Integration of camera in the mobile wallet
Save pictures on the blockchain
Sell pictures through the blockchain

Website
Soon online: http://snapcoin.online

Bounty
We have a bounty for several tasks:
- Translations
- Graphical designs
- Mobile wallet developers
- Good ideas

Swap
Old SnapCoins can be swapped for new ones. SnapCoin (SNP) died in 2014 and is now relaunched. We are planning to make SnapCoin the one and only coin that has a camera integrated in the wallet so that pictures can be stored, distributed and sold through the blockchain.

Masternode howto
Click on Masternodes button
Switch to My Master Nodes Tab
Click Create
Alias field: yourmasternodename
Address field: your ip:port example: 123.456.78.9:9999
Click OK
Select your new masternode and click "Copy Address"
Send exactly 5000 SNAP to that address
Again select your new masternode and click "get config"
A window pops up - copy that and paste it in notepad
replace the fields that say "REPLACEME" with whateverrandomthingyoucomeupwith
add a line with this: staking=0
save as %appdata%\SnapCoin\snapcoin.conf
restart your wallet
Click on Masternodes button
Switch to My Master Nodes Tab
Select your masternode and click "start"
Congratulations, you got your self a master node

*NOTES*
*EDIT* wallet must be fully unlocked when you click "create"
To send exactly 5k including fee it is easier to enable coin control in your wallet then select your inputs adding up to 5k plus ~1 coin then just type 5000 and your wallet will deduct the fees and will send one single and exact 5k input.

Your transaction must have at least 10 confirms in order to be used as a collateral address.
Open the port on your firewall/router
Sometimes your external ip will not be detected so it doesn't hurt to add "externalip=yourexternalip" in another line in your conf file.
Make sure your conf file extension is conf and not conf.txt
I always use a fresh new wallet for the nodes so I can stake my MN payments in another wallet just for staking.

In addition to traditional Proof of Work (PoW) rewards for mining SnapCoin, users are also rewarded for running and maintaining special servers called masternodes. Thanks to this innovative two tier network, SnapCoin can offer innovative features in a trustless and decentralized way.
Masternodes primary function is to carry out the anonymization phase of the Darksend protocol and to validate transactions almost instantly. In the future, there will be more services performed by the masternodes network. Masternodes will recieve 50% of all blocks that are found with PoS

Soon more information (now working on the website and block explorer)

Thats part of our concept. We will use those coins for picture contests, to pay developers, give aways and bounties. They will not be dumped.

The picture contest will allow users to win (large) amounts of SnapCoin for taking the best pictures. There will be a (blockchain based) online picture portal that enables people to vote on pictures and earn SnapCoin. More information will follow.

Besides the retardedly high amount, that doesn't matter. Even if the pope or Obama had the coins it would still introduce the element of having to trust someone.

There's simply zero incentive to secure your network via PoW, with that level of premine imbalance. It's not worth it to grind the equivalent of a thousand blocks to get a masternode.

Well, miners are mining (2,255.809 MH/s) as we speak: https://snap.maxminers.net/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

It's speculative launch mining. I don't think that level will be sustained. But I wish you luck.
