Great guide, will definitely help out a lot of people who don't realize that BTC is the digital equivalent as cash, and needs protected as such. Myself, I keep my wallet.dat on dropbox so it's accessible from the cloud, but that's more as a "checking" account (that's empty atm). I'll definitely use the print and lock up method for my future savings account.

Make sure your wallet.dat is in an encrypted volume of it's own.

awesome post, you must protect against physical loss as well as hacking. keeping your wallet on a single laptop hard drive with no backup is just suicide
personally i have mine on a virtual machine hosted in a secure datacenter with storage on a raid array AND backed up in 2 offsite locations, i'm still paranoid about it :-)

Someone needs to make a tool specifically to make it fast and easy to create paper Bitcoin wallets.

What would be the most reasonable way to secure a wallet(in terms of the effort it takes to accomplish it)?
