I think bets lower than 10bits may count, although come to think of it, you may not reach the required amount to wager if you bet lower than 10bits.

Think again. The house edge on two of their games namely Chart Bet and Gems with Friends is below 1%. And to wager 0.4btc does not necessarily mean you will lose. If you lose then I'm sorry for you but you still get 2500bits if you meet the requirement, if you win then another 2500 added to your winnings.
