MineCoin is made with love for miners. More and more coins these days are proof of stake only. We love our great miners that do the hard work to keep a network fast and secure. We should all realize that thanks to miners your transactions get confirmed and your coins are transfered fast.

As offensive we created MineCoin that allows only miners to earn coins through proof of work. MineCoin uses the good old Scrypt algorithm. The Scrypt algorithm has proven itself over many years and is one of the most friendly algorithms available.

This coin is all about having fun and earning coins with mining. Our goal is to be a commonly accepted currency with the advantage of a fast and secure network thanks to our miners.

In the beginning this coin will be tradable on Yobit exchange and will later be added to the major exchanges like Bittrex. Yobit needs about 2 days to add to coin, so please be a little patient. Meanwhile you can start mining and earn new MineCoins.

Please do not go mad and post all these negative messages. We are here to have fun and that is what this coin is all about. be friendly and polite to each other! We hope for some support of the community and to start off we have added some bounties.

what's the point to relaunch a crappy coin?

This coin did not get a fair launch.  It was abandoned about a month after launch in 2015.  I kept the blochchain going in the beginning of 2016 for a specific project.  I am only getting to the project now...

Stay tuned, I promise something different.  This is not a coin project, but a coin used in a project.

The big thing I needed to do was get the fork in to change the PoW reward.  A long story that will be explained soon but not today.

The new wallet with a newer codebase is out to support the fork.  

The bounties will be coming when the project is ready.

I have no premine from this coin.  This coin has been traded on YObit for the last year and there are pools that have supported this coin.  The coins I hold are from mining with about 1 MHash Scrypt miners, so not a lot of power.  I have also bought XMINE from the YObit exchange.

The developer that originally launched this coin may still have the pre-mine from block one (84 000 XMINE) but I really don't know or care.

Restarting from Block 1 would defeat the purpose of blockchain technology.

I am taking an abandoned coin and using it in a new project.  There is nothing really new in this coin, yet.  I needed to get the new wallet with the fork to reduce the mining reward before the coin supply was reached.

Once a PoW coin reaches the max supply, the coin and its blockchain will stop from a lack of interest and mining reward (something that people are running models and simulations for Bitcoin for a while now).  The coin is a pure PoW and I want to keep it that way, while I develop a project to use the coin.

Yes it was a porject of Keesdewits'.  I think the popularity of his other coin forced him to concentrate on the other coin.

The blockchain is still active over a year later, so the project I have planned should be a good platform for this coin.

There is no superior technology to be found in this coin at the moment.  This is a simple Scrypt coin with a mature and clean blockchain.  The coin is going to be used as part of a software/service that has been in the planning and development stage since March 2016.  That is the part of the project with the technology and value-add.
