Well it's good to see another mining coin come out as miners also need something to chew on because of the many other POS coins that have been launched recently so am wishing everyone good luck here and happy mining!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yes, the Blockchain is currently stuck at block 700090.  There was a previous wallet release with a higher version than the current that messed up the hard fork transition.

All is not lost.  The chain will be reversed to 699999 and then a new block 700000 will be mined and a wallet with the checkpoint at 700000 with the valid chain will be released.

Wallet addresses that have mined and sent transactions in blocks 699000 - 699999 will receive XMINE from my personal wallet as compensation for the error.

I will keep you posted.  I have not abandoned the coin, things are just getting started.  I am only caught with some other issues occurring at the same time.

Your patience is greatly appreciated.

What are you going to do about all the blocks after 700000 that have been mined? Last I saw it was past 704000 blocks over a week ago when I mined for an hour or so.

I have been considering the options, and since I have to taking too long to respond to my mistake, I believe the longest chain should win.  Meaning my planned hard fork failed, but the miners that continued to mine should not loose there mining effort.  It is a mining coin after all!

So I will work out my issues that didn't work the wallet and adjust the hard fork to happen later on the existing blockchain.  This way miners will not lose their rewards and I can reduce the mining rewards at a later block with a better plan.

How does this sound?

Glad to see you are trying to keep it fair for everyone. Looking forward to seeing the fix up and running and getting back to mining.
