Todd Fisher said media outlets are "writing between the lines" in reporting that she's now in stable condition. The Associated Press reported earlier today that Todd Fisher said Carrie Fisher was in stable condition and "out of emergency."

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics were already on the scene, performing CPR on a female victim who had gone into cardiac arrest, when airport police arrived. She was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Fisher, 60, reportedly went into cardiac arrest about 15 minutes before the plane landed following the 11-hour flight, TMZ first reported. She was reportedly taken to UCLA Medical Center and placed on a ventilator.

Carrie Fisher Dead at 60

TMZ broke the story ... Fisher was on a flight from London to LAX Friday when she suffered the heart attack 15 minutes before landing. People on the plane tell TMZ she appeared lifeless.

A passenger who's an EMT performed CPR on Carrie and once the flight landed, paramedics rushed her to UCLA Medical Center where she remained in intensive care until her death.   

The family had said she was in "stable condition" but we're told she was not responsive after her medical emergency.

Carrie had been on a publicity tour for her new book, "The Princess Diarist." The book recently made headlines because she wrote about having an affair with co-star Harrison Ford while shooting the original 'Star Wars' movies.

I wonder who will die or what plane will crash in the few days remaining for this year

What a terrible year for high profile western celebrities. It's almost perverse (yet understandable for a number of reasons) how the passing of these celebrities can affect so many people in a way that those innocents dying in war zones does not.

I think the passing of Rickman, Michael and Fisher are the ones that hit me the hardest

I think this tribute is befitting of her accomplishments even thru diversity of her condition as she mentioned in her book too.
We are all ill in someway, whether we like to admit or not. If you say you are not then you are a coward and a liar. And she was neither of those!
Just remember that.
And in remembrance of a the true hero in the Stars Wars movies..

He knew how she hated to be objectified in that manner. Poor taste on him at this time.
