Can trading be considered as gambling??

Trading is a lot more safe but in some ways not, In gambling you always tend to know your odds.
But in trading there is many factors and you could wake up poor with out any choice of being poor.
So as i see it trading is an investment, gambling is entertainment that you for the most part can control how much you lose buy just stopping.
In trading if the market is going down there and there isnt enough buy orders you might be stuck trying to dump to cut your loses before someone else does.

for sure if you are not aware with the trade that you are buying with i guess its similar to gambling in that way but as long as you have good knowledge and good position with the assessment that you made for sure you will be able to gain profits from trading unlike gambling you always hoping that luck will be at your side.

The issue with that is altcoin trading is done by a lot of day traders who emotional trade which is a good way to get screwed out of lot of money do to speculative traders dumping.

Trading and gambling have similarities,they both attempt to create a capital gain over a short period of time. They also more risky and their outcomes are unpredictable. Also both the gambler and the trader must decide how much they want to risk.

I think these two practices are different from each other, because in gambling you put amount of money, and you might restore it with profit or you might lose it, while in trading you might win or lose without losing your whole money, so gambling is more dangerous than trading.

In gambling, very few people can success those who are lucky they will make a profit and the remaining players will end with the loss. But I trading the success rate is bit high if you know the market and you know the right place to trade you will make a good profit. So trading is a better choice.

Yeah right! Trading is not like gambling because first trading is not game that yyou just bet and play, trading is all about skills and knowledge about that coin thenn if you dont have enough knowledge about that then youll end up losing your money then in gambling it is all about luck if now is your lucky day then you end up earning a lot of profit.

Risk and success rate is really different on both gambling and trading and as you said most players on gambling do suffer lose in the end and it is also present on trading but not much compared to gambling.They have simmilarities on losing money but trading is much far away better than to gambling itself.For me i would rather choose trading over gambling even it is hard to learn trading but i wont give up because i know i can make profits with it in the future,

Gambling is some activities that you put money as bet in case to earn profits or lose it based on your skills and luck.
I think trading is same as gambling in that way, as you could get profits or loss due to incorrect prediction even many people said you have better chance to get profits in trading, but it still not guarantee, right.

as long as you are using your brain and your skills in trading and think before making each trade to make the best decision, and also the most important thing for last: as long as you are making profit in trading then no you are not gambling and you can continue on trading and improve your skills to make more money.

in a way yes. but for me when you trade with research, this is smart gambling. unlike actual gambling where in mostly luck plays a big part, in trading, timing and experience are more important. although luck still is one aspect of it, you can cover for that with preparation and knowing about the movement of coins you're playing with. this is the kind of gambling that prefers skill and experience over chance.

I think it would not be a very wise association. To invest in the Bitcoin market, you surely need much more than just luck, it's necessary a broad knowledge of what happens in the market, in the economy and in the society. In that sense, it's not that different if compared to the stock market.
On the other hand, in gambling, there are people that manage to reduce the risks, by having knowledge of the game and having a good strategy, but your luck is what will decide the final result of the game.

Yeah both have risks. In trading yes it requires your knowledge on how to manage and where to invest your money with.. learning about it is not so easy so it requires a lot of time and trial and error thing. Once you acquired these knowledge in trading it will be easier for you to work your money with it..while in gambling it requires also a knowledge on how to play the game and also needs a luck to win.

Trading seems much better in term of risks when we can comparison with gambling. In gambling only the house has edge in long term but the players can win for short time of period but only few. If we come into trading with some skills than success rate is much high and that is why I'll prefer trading instead of gambling.

in your case i am going to say no it is not gambling. although you are the only one that can answer this question.
if you feel like you are gambling whenever you make a trade then yeah it is gambling. but if you really hand-pick each trade and in the end if you are successful then no it is the correct way of trading.

yes no doubt about this that both are risk but i think still gambling is more risky than trading, in trading you always have a chance to recover your lost while in gambling once you lost your money then there is no return of it.
