Gambling can not be equated with trading. Because the trading requires analysis and the situation etc. While the 99% gambling is purely set by the system. While 1% is just luck only

You can trade without analysis as well but it will be very hard and it will be the same as gambling because you rely on your luck only. I dont want to trade without analysis because it is not the right thing to do. I can get money from that so an extra job is better however in gambling it is different because it is for fun

You would really like on doing gambling if you do trade without any analysis or knowledge on doing it because you will surely lose up money since you don't know what you are doing. You don't have complete idea on how to execute proper trades. Even though its just a simple buy and sell but it isn't easy if you are not knowledgeable on this thing. If you don't like to gamble then don't do trade without proper knowledge. Better to know the fundamentals and important things before jumping in.

I think gambling and trading are two different activities. Gambling is the activity of drawing fate like picking dice, picking numbers and then hoping that numbers will appear, the decision is complete when the dice is thrown, the end result we never know and can not control it. While trading is a decision making activity involving many aspects ranging from market research and analysis, financial management and risk management to psychology management to recognizing market psychology as well as the ability to control ones own emotions.

I want to know what you guys think about this, I have stopped gambling but still trade so does this mean I am still gambling?? I don't trade on basis of luck I trade using my skills would it still be considered gambling??

Please tell me what do you think.
I don't think that gambling and trading are same , Since in some condition we can say that trading is much resemblance with the gambling but still we can't say that these are much similar .
Here reason is simple , let think that you made placed your bet of 0.01btc and then you get loss , so now forget your money that you placed for the gambling game , Now come at the trading , suppose you bought the coin of 0.01btc , after this it's price get down , But here you have not lost your money because there will always remain chances that the price of that coin will increase in the future and not only you will get your money back but also you will get much profit .

There are many different types of gambling that have different risk levels and skill levels. For example, poker does require some skill so your odds drop if you are very skilled at it. But for dice, there is no skill involved and there is nothing you can do to increase your odds.

You also have to consider that gambling against a real opponent is different that gambling against a computer on a gambling site where the house takes a profit. So there is a lot of variation in the risk depending on the type of game you are betting on.

They are really different since they do have different kind of way on making money. Trading does need knowledge and skills and gambling do really need luck in able to make money and the time you are considering trading as a gambling is that you do make trades without any proper knowledge because you are just like throwing up your money into the oblivion.

Yes, when you do the trade without having proper knowledge about trading then we can consider trading is like gambling. But no body will try trading without having basic knowledge. It needs a lot of patience and skills to make money. Gambling is just a game, and without skills also we can play and make money if we just have luck with us.

I think that trading is almost similar to gambling because it requires risk. Coins value is unpredictable so it's all up to you when to buy or sell. It's almost similar to gambling, there are chances that you depend on chances and luck. If you're new to trading it's most likely like gambling. Trading requires knowledge, skills and experience. So, if you're new it's almost the same as you're just gambling and depending on chance.

to me i think trading cannot be consider as gambling, because in trading we need to have good experience and trading skill. while in gambling we mostly depend on our luck, i think risk is always here in every field of life. and we can only be succeeded if we are taking risk. but it does not mean to put trading investment and gambling in one category. i think in trading and investment we can reduce the risk if we have good knowledge and planing about trading and investment.

I wonder why some people thought trading is like gambling despite of trading always gains profit at around 60% of their investments. Yet gambling always being defined as always prone to lucky winnings and in worst case loses is the main situations that happens to most gamblers online. The trading decisions you had will eventually make your funds into possible wealth to come your way, as time will count on with your investments.

but i do not think that we can consider trading g as ambling because there is a big difference between the two. in trading we must have good knowledge and experience while in gambling there are some gambling games where we do not need for any experience and skill but we mostly depend there on our luck.

The risk that you are going to take in Trading is not like on gambling though. The returns or the profits that you are going to have if you are going to do Trading is sure, while the returns or the profits that you could have on trading will depends on how lucky you are. In Trading you could earn even more and the money that you will use will not be a waste or nonsense, it is for the long term investment since the prices of the Altcoins is always fluctuating.

i will considering trading as long term investment and trading is not gambling because even if the price is getting down, i am sure the price will be back normal and if the time is come, the price will increase more high and will jump into moon. its happen too many times since i started trading in 2015 and i see all coins have this experience and i have few coins that i bought since 2016 and i am not selling until now.

For me trading is gambling but moderated gambling because it's safer if you set the right limitations for it do that you can't loose beyond those limits unlike real gambling that can render you bankrupt in an instant.

In trading there are times that you profit instant but some are experiencing failuire first before you succeed in trading. So I think its not gambling It is just you gamble your feelings whether you decide to do it or not.

Then it is like gambling you will experience failure until you will not stop and then you will reach the you dream to make profit with gambling however in trading maybe you can only minimize your loses there if you want to re-sell your coins without the price you wanted. We gamble because we feel that in here the easiest way to earn money hence you can lose your money too.

It is right that there is much difference in trading and gambling because in gambling you are totally depended on luck in gambling you may lost totally on one bet, but in trading if unfortunately the market is down so that day you may hold your good for in the market and the next day with good market price you can earn much money. So, in trading you can use your mind but in gambling you cannot.

I can go out and shout out to the world that I am a trader and peoples reaction maybe surprised or impressed but if I go out and shout that I am a gambler, people will raise eye brows and get frowns if I do that. Trading is not gambling, both have risks but one is based on chance and the other one is based on analysis and market condition.

Gambling is just a game, and without skills also we can play and make money if we just have luck with us.
people keep telling the similar point here about trading and gambling . both are different . mostly says that gambling trading aren't profitable in the long run , but trading have a better chance , they said .... and i think the same too that trading profitable for few people / groups only . while gambling are completely aren't profitable you shouldn't ever try if you can't be responsible .

actually they are not the same because trading is profitable and gambling is unknown.it is called unknown because we dont know  what would happen during gambling.but for me i believe that gambling is not profitable because when the gambler win in a gamble they did not use the money they have won  to buy important things for there daily life of living such as food clothing etc.  in fact they reserve it for the next time of gambling.that was a reality.i tell you  frankly trading is better than gambling.
