This must be in reference to the recently terrorist attack in Berlin, Germany which killed a dozen (can be more) people and wounded many. The terrorist did not use bomb but just a truck to bulldoze people who are enjoying their time in a Christmas market which is popular in Germany.

I doubt whether that many churches exist in Syria and Iraq. Perhaps they will target the churches in Muslim majority nations such as Indonesia and Nigeria. But even then, "thousands" is a very big number and they don't have enough manpower for doing that. |

There are no news of Church being bombed at Christmas day but it is still good to be always vigilant. Terrorist are always on standbye waiting for seasons when the society is not prepared, the government is not focused on putting up police and afp forces on guard then they will attack. Only in a very strict police action and army movement will terrorism be out of the picture.
