Girlbtc.com got banned and I guess the appeal didn't really work and now he is coming back using multiple accounts and he is spamming to advertise his new forum which is an exact copy of this one , he is only promising to not ban people etc. first post , second post there is definitely more but I lost trace of them. edit : third post

It's a pain that the spam needs to be kept under control, but the forum that they're advertising is never going to take off so it will die eventually. An IP ban is not effective with people like this, either because their ISP gives them fresh IP addresses or they are using proxies to evade bans.

An IP ban is not effective with people like this, either because their ISP gives them fresh IP addresses or they are using proxies to evade bans. By IP ban, I mean a range that they have used to register. This would effectively ban their ISP. Alternatively, their ISP and Proxies used can be blacklisted, i.e. added some amount of evil, so that they have to pay every time they register from those IP range.

Banning an IP range would ban any user trying to register or post from that country/ ISP, etc. Not sure if that is really fair to other users from that region/ provider.

the best way to fight spammers and ban evaders like him is to report his posts/threads with a proper description usually mods react to that and accounts are getting banned in a day or two also no,banning IP ranges is useless,he can run a proxy/vpn and appear from any country he likes

Then why not go to their forum and troll them I have signed up there as 'F**K' and "Want BTC', and begging there for BTC (which is supposed to be not allowed) and even f***ed them. Their rules aren't much better, they require 15 minutes (instead of 6) between posts! (Serious part) Maybe we'll have to add a new rule? Like making a deposit to the forum when making an account, and return them after they have made 1 post and without getting banned (meaning that the post was OK). This will stop the spammers while keeping the real users here. Please remove your link...

I did notice a few different spam patterns now: Content from Girlbtc forum without links and posting randomly in some Chinese threads. It doesn't look like he/she will stop anytime soon. Girlbtc is a gamble site since it started. and forum is just his sub-function for free talk.
The website and the owner should be put on a public list of shame.

I guess you need to find his Twitter and other social accounts, if he make any noise there, that would be considered "ban evasion" too? Or you should find him and block him mouth from talking?

So whats your point here? Do you mean i spend my time looking for his alts spamming the forum? Then you are wrong, i just took a look in a section and found his post about his own forum. So what is your problem here? Is girlbtc your friend or what? Well you should probably tell hin to stop spamming his links and shit here

I have some Chinese friends in Pataya, who are at low designations but still they maintain a high quality life , i am just pissed off seeing the way this thin girlbtc spams the forum and that too blatantly. He doesn't even care for his site reputation.

In the following quotes, I cannot tell if ETFbitcoin is being sarcastic or not. For those of us (probably all) that have seen the depth of knowledge of individuals on the forum, this should seem justified. So, they keep their promise which says "We promise ,We are open ,we never delete posts ,never ban people ,make bitcoin forum the way it should be ( Open, Free, Public) Smiley" I hope people who run bot in this forum will move to girlbtc forum because they have good promise.
You can't possibly serious about people moving to girlbtc's forum, right? It would just become an absolute shitshow of spam and scam attempts if literally no posts were deleted and no people were banned. Imagine a message board with no moderation - things would go haywire. This "free speech" is way too free and given the pseudo-anonymity of the internet, one can simply post anything without consequences.
(Serious part) Maybe we'll have to add a new rule? Like making a deposit to the forum when making an account, and return them after they have made 1 post and without getting banned (meaning that the post was OK). This will stop the spammers while keeping the real users here.
I think that's bad idea, especially for newbie or people who don't have much bitcoin. Maybe we should add notice not to trust newbie/new user easily.1. It's a given. 2. It's there already in the form of private messages. Private messages from Newbies will result in a red notice: "!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!" Additionally, I don't really mind the fact that people are scammed by newbies and Ponzi schemes. Caveat emptor, and if they're too ignorant or stupid to be vigilant, then they'll be scammed and learn from the lesson. The amount they are scammed serves to pay for it.

Girlbtc (a chinese user) got banned a little while ago and announced their new forum. Ever since accounts with similar english skills using chinese characters have been complaining about this forum and promoting girlbtc's. It would be a big surprise to me at least if it wasn't them.
