Anyone >>has bought<< (not just transferred) BTC as a gift? BTC has just resumed the fast rise of the last days, gaining 20$ in the last minutes...

This rocket could take off at any time. What we are seeing is the classic xmas gift. We see that a lot of bitcoin users are young males that are into computers, and in steam we see tons of good offers right now, im myself tempted to spend some btc in some games because its so convenient to press click and get your games, but I will resist the damn temptations, the rocket will continue next year if not in the next hours.

Nah. Allow the market to calm down first. After that we'll see whether or not the price will continue to rally. I am more than happy with the price staying above the $800 levels. I prefer the price to remain around current levels, than to rush up further where we could face some serious dumps. Let's enjoy what we have achieved so far.

Same, I wish that the price stays lower for a long amount of time, I need more time in order to accumulate and reach the 21 BTC long holding dream, if the price keeps going up at this rate I might not be able to reach the goal in time since it will be impossible to get that much BTC at such prices. Unfortunately, it seems like we are going to go 1,000 soon. We bottomed at 859$ hours ago and something tells me the market is bullish and doesn't want to wait to cross 900 again.

Why would i want to give somebody that i love an asset with broken fundamentals that is overbought in a hyped pyarmid scheme market? Unless i really really hate them of course...

Your FUD doesn't make sense, but even if im replying to a troll, it is reasonable that the rally dipped in christmas because owners of bitcoin may have bought steam giftcards and so on. I know a guy that bought videogames for his brother and other family members, all those sales means sold BTC. Once holidays are over the train will keep going to 1000+ where it belongs as the unique asset it is.
