Don't know about Trump the moron! But keeping my fingers crossed for bitcoin rally. I too hope that bitcoin will reach to a new height within a short period of time. Probably within a month.
I have been storing bitcoin with this hope that I will be able to buy something very expensive for myself with my bitcoin holdings. I hope that day will come in 2017 only.

If you use Bitcoin as a pump and dump coin you can be burned. Bitcoin is far more than a price on a Exchange. Bitcoin is an technology and not a get rich quick scheme. Speculating about a price is a dumb idea.

When you will finelly understand that bitcoin doesn't depend from Trump or Chinese people. Well, I really believe that one day bitcoin will hit the price of 1200$. But who knows when it's going to happen? Now I'm waiting to bitcoin fall to buy some  |

Totally agree that bitcoin is not a pump and dump coin. Also I fully agree it's a new technology for raising money where only you are in full control (at least that's the core philosophy in bitcoin in my view). Speculating about price is not a good idea, but conserving your coins and buying them now it maybe the wise choice that we made in our lives a few years later. This is also a big power of bitcoin. |

I'm probably just as happy as others with the current rally but I know I am not alone in hoping that it steadies at this level for a few more months to allow some of us to acquire a few fractions of btc.
Besides, holding longer now will boost chances for higher climbs next year=)

I and many other investors are hoping for a big positive change to be seen next year. Such effects took place three years ago because of halving.. Halving took place again this year and the following one should be a history change, again! Except this we've got Obama and Trump, and nobody knows what's going to happen soon. With each terrorist attack we're looking at higher and higher prices, and I cannot see them stopping anytime soon! |

I think is great to see it like you are your own bank and that nobody can't charge a fee to have it into your wallet. Also, I am grateful that we have this opportunity in our lifetime to have an asset that rises in value and that nobody controls centrally. If the price goes up or down, I will continue to use bitcoin for the increasing purchasing power over time instead of the inflation with fiat. |

But I can't understand this excessive optimism. If you don't have 100 btcs or more in your wallet this rally is not necessarily a good deal for most bitcoiners.
A bitcoin price around $1,500 or $2,000 would mean two important things:
a) the possibility of getting one bitcoin will be harder every day for newcomers. A very expensive price would discourage many people from buying some coins.
b) a sudden increase to those high levels would mean that the bitcoin price is still in the hands of speculators, and this high volatility will remain as an important handicap against a massive adoption.

We're nowhere close to hitting something like $1.2k, right now we're seeing some nice values that are sitting around $900, but for now, there are a lot of walls that have to be broken before we can even look at the $1k wall, let alone $1.2k.
There are a lot of mental barriers for the market, and nothing is a decent guarantee. We still have yet to see where it all goes, and right now the charts and history behind the value aren't extremely convincing.

i know thats why im holding my bitcoin and im waiting till it reach $1200 but im expecting that if bitcoin hit the price oof $1000 that will be the end of its shooting up because there will be a lot of users that will cashout their bitcoin into fiat thats what im afraid of because i know that will be the reason of bitcoin dropping back down.

I really hope this can be true
Im really optimistic bitcoin will reach that price in near time and I will buy some bitcoin to hold
It is impossible that the price can be touch 1.2k value right now or this week. but maybe it can be touch this coming 2017 but it takes too long my prediction is nearly march or may that the price will touch in that value.. you are right, it seems really impossible for bitcoin to $1200 within this week but I don't think that it would took that long maybe if the price has reached $1000 price value before the year ends it could be possible that in the near end of the month February 2017 bitcoin will reach almost or exact $1200 . but we should not very complacent and expect too much . |
