It means that bitcoin is trending right now because the price of bitcoin is increase fast and i think if we hit 1k value like other said more attention by many people that we can be attracted to invest more people in bitcoin that can push the price more above 1k value.. i hope they can notice the benefits that we are getting in bitcoin..

That is why the price was increased these days because of reddit that most of visited site world wide.. well i think more new users in bitcoin are come and use bitcoin right now and many people are buying more bitcoins because more people are seeing the movement of the price that actually you can seen that the price is gradually increasing.

More new users means mainly a one thing. Big price swings. If that is true we should expect huge price swings. If price will not be much volatile its the China that doesnt know what to do with money. Especially on the winter time so they want to create a bubble. People will join ... even if they are negative commenting the bitcoin. They will join as last pay the price of being last so they could confirm that bitcoin is bad. So yeah it will be a fun time when everyone will confirm what they believe.

It could but if everything stays the same it is more possible to happen during the first few months of 2017. I am not a good trader but I have recently been experimenting in trading altcoins at Poloniex. I have lost some of my Bitcoins which I regret because of my greed. I believe the safest and sure way is to just hold them while it is rising. The markets move very fast and I end up in panic buying or selling.

In 2013 a bitcoin was worth easily more than $1000, this just means it's about to drop off again soon.

How I love the negativity of uneducated fools who believe that everything revolves around centrally steered economy and illusion of economic safety in the form of fiat currencies.

Being an old thread. I did decide to see what the new post was about but was disappointed with noting relevant to say more about it being front page again.
Because with the ATH nearly here it should be in the front of all news media outlets again.
I doubt reddit will repeat an old story of 3 months ago to just recycle their page again now would they?
But we all know that major media outlets just gobble this stuff up to make it to the 6 o'clock news as a breaking news story to gather notoriety amongst their other news media peers.
