I tried for about half an hour to sell bitcoins on mtgox as they plummeted but when I clicked on the "sell bitcoins" button nothing happened at all.  Did I do something wrong, did anyone else experience this?  Also it took ages for the confirmation of deposit to come through, maybe 7 confirmations, do any other exchanges confirm deposit quicker than that?

Now the price has rallied a little I'm not so angry but if theres a more reliable way to cash out to GBP than Mt.gox then I'm all ears.

Was my post useful to you?  Tips graciously received!

As I posted previously I think Mt Gox will have liquidity issues. If you can xfer BTC and use another exhange do it. I cashed out a few days ago but pretty sure that getting the fiat from Mt Gox is going to be near impossible or take a loooonnnnnngg time. Its a herd of elephants heading for the door scenario.
