May gumagawa pa ba nito ngayon? I think way back 2012 to 2013 marami nito noon. Napansin ko kasi kung gagamit ng LocalBitcoins or Coins.ph, at least 1% in transaction fees ang friction. Of course, there's convenience in that minimum 1% in fees but one has to think na required ang isa or both parties to verify their accounts using those services.

May mga Pinoy pa ba dyan na nakikipag-trade ng bitcoins ng kaliwaan in person? Of course, sa safe place sila makikipag-trade like any coffee shops within the malls for example.

I have never tried trading bitcoins via meetups but through this forum, trying to look for buyers which have good trust ratings and have been well known already not to get away with your money, usually payment is through western union, which is the easiest way. But through the advent of coins.ph and other similar local exchangers, more people try to use more of these service rather than meetups.Btw there are also P2P selling or buying of bitcoins through facebook.

Like you I've done trading bitcoins via WU before. But I think there's a real risk of disclosing your personal details using that means that's why I stopped doing it after some time. In my opinion, the proliferation of local bitcoin exchanges are making the technology more centralized. It has some good benefits in the short term as adoption from many users catches up, but in the long term, bitcoin's centralization via exchanges could be grounds for taxation and stricter government regulation (which I really find bullshit).

Sa ngayun wala dahil na rin sa iilan lang ang gumagamit ng bitcoin or bilang nga lang ang gumagamit na pinoy so kung gusto mo ng meetups for now we can say that we are just few maybe this coming year we will see more people will be use bitcoin since coins.ph added many feature right now that can get benefits by users. . i hope na mag karon manlang tao kahit coffee shop na tumatanggap ng bitcoin at i am sure makaka meetup din tayu ng mga gumagamit talaga ng bitcoin..

Make crypto as your bank.
