I Will Buy Your Bitcoins for $20

I am interested in getting in on this currency while it's new, and I'm sure due to recent market fluctuations there are people who want out.

So, here's a call to arms for those people: I will buy your Bitcoins for 20 bucks apiece, which I know right now is above their normal asking price, so you still profit a little over the real market and I have bitcoins without having to mine for 2 weeks. I look forward to us doing business together.

Posting this in the newbie forum because A: I can't post anywhere else, and B: The big leaguers elsewhere are probably already pretty sold on the Bitcoin-conomy. Here, however, there might be some people who want to be rescued from everything possibly going completely sour. I'm willing to make the gamble...see where these two ends meet?

I'm not entirely sure how you've reached that conclusion. For the record the current conversion rate seems to be $19.63 per Bitcoin. If you're accusing me of being fake for trying to give people a good deal in order to buy Bitcoins from them, then you should probably have a little more trust in humanity.

First of all, I'm not accusing you of being a scammer. But I understand why people would call this a fake. You said the current conversion rate is 19.63, and you're buying them for 20.00. Why wouldn't you just buy them for 19.63?

(I'm just asking, I'm not sure if the conversion-rate is both ways)

Mostly because then I'm more likely to get a deal, because I'm offering for more - it's just economics. I can spare the 37 Cents.

Well, how would you like me to send it?
I could Paypal it, or if you're really afraid of money being traded over the internet (in which case why are you even here) I could just mail you sets of twenty dollars. But of course, that would require your address...do I ask people to violate their hatred of Paypal, or to revoke their anonymity? For some reason, doing neither and leaving the choice up to the customer is now known as 'scamming.'

Most frauds involve PayPal because transactions are reversible, while Bitcoin transactions are not. Would you be willing to pay via Liberty Reserve or MoneyPack, and use an escrow service? If yes, we can do some business.

Would you mind describing these services in detail? It sounds an awful lot like you can force me to irreversibly send you money while you never send me any bitcoins.

Just google liberty reserve and money pack - you will find better descriptions than I can give you. An escrow service ensure that I will not scam you after I get your dollars for my bitcoins. But I am sure you already know this

escrow services are where the money is put into hold by a 3rd party they keep a hold of your cash until the bit coins have been paid then sent to the person sending the bit coins kinda makes sure both sides keep up there end of the bargain.

and with you like me being a new member and there are a lot of scam artists out there its best to keep things as safe as you can

Use Clearcoin or ask one of the forum moderators or Morpheus to act as an escrow especially if you deal in larger sums.

1. Both send their end of the bargain (non-reversible currency) to moderator.

2. After received, moderator sends BTC and currency to respective parties.

clearcoin only takes your bitcoins, and they do not get involved if anything goes south. not good enough.
