Hi BTC Community,

We will not have a demo as such, but we may be able to spare the resources at some point in the next few weeks to have a seperate proof of concept. Ascendancy will be open source however and you will be able to track development of the product when we work on the public codebase.

We are working hard to have an efficient workflow and a productive team.

They cant. Its just another money hungry ico with promises and nothing to show us they can complete any of it. That's why I only invest in icos, that have working beta tech at the very minimum. Im not investing in promises. That shit gets you and more importantly me and my pocket nowhere.

This project has been in the works for the past 9 or 10 months when Bitcoin was around $400. We even named it a 5 or 6 months back and bought the domain sometime around then (actually bough 2016-07-02, https://www.nic.io). You may think its obvious but you are incorrect in this case. Some of the site is not even public right now for the IPO (Starting 30 Dec 2016) Let alone the starting code for the framework.

The reason for the IPO is to raise capital to initiate faster development. In exchange for us raising capital to help development you will get an opportunity to own some token / equity at a low price based on our predictions. You do not have to take up this opportunity if you do not wish to.

Other cryptocurrencies into the platform is certainly a possibility if that is what the dAPP creator is wanting, there are no limits of what they can use from an API for example. But the main idea is that it will allow developers who are not 'savvy' with blockchain technology to develop in a container or what other platforms call a sidechain. With educational documents and simplified libraries to help them every step of the way. Their own token will run aside from the main blockchain though, however this will not really be noticable to an average user and it will appear as its own chain.

I will also add that their own token is just a scenario from me, they do not even have to show this really as the blockchain could be running with PoS in the background of their dAPP.

edit: Yes, we will of course be using trusted escrows with multi-signature signing.
