This thread is getting a little out of hand despite its entertainment value. Why can't you just use a middleman to receive the goods?

I put the lealana up for a raffle, tickets are .0125 each and once there are 16 spots filled an escrow will be chosen and the funds will be sent to him/her.

Thats not true, I even offered to go with the standard escrow as in

buyer sends btc to escrow
i send coins to buyer
buyer confirms and escrow releases

no, I am fine with escrow. but if BTC goes up to the price of 1300 than the amount that I paid for the coin is loaded to the coin. and I thought I paid 120 for it but I really paid 130 and I am trying to profit on this.

I'll better this. I offer $475 at the time of writing. If $475 goes above 0.5 BTC, then my offer stays at $475. If it drops, then I pay the equivalent of BTC at the time of sale.

The thing is, you just cannot price BTC deals in $ terms. BTC is BTC, it doesn't change. 0.5 BTC worth $400 a week ago is still 0.5 BTC, even though it is worth $470 now.

You need to stick to BTC, and BTC only- not $.

Well I got permission from the owner and I am not taking btc offers on them only usd. I know a lot of people don't like it. But i am sure there are a few people that only wanted a one or two pieces from that auction so I wanted to give them a chance
