Well, I've been in since sometime between 8 and 10 am CST this morning , just couldn't  post on here until now. Mu user on the pool is IWant Coins.

Between two miners I have 2665 shares accepted and only 14 stale, about .5%  Cool!!

I think I'm going to be sticking with this pool for awhile. My estimated reward keeps rising nicely too, up to about .4 btc for a little over 12 hours of mining at 270-280 Mhash/s

Good luck on the first block everyone Wink

That's good to hear.

I am thinking about adding a 0.5 BTC bonus to the finder of each block, what do people think about that ?

i think the finder should take the blocks' fees Wink

i have noticed some random disconnections like "miner is idle".
where is the server's location?

Adding ~1.8GH to this today as Eligius isn't working properly. Hopefully get that 5BTC. Wink

I also like the idea that the finder gets that block's fees as a reward.

Oh look, another proportional pool for Multipool! Grin

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

Oh look, another proportional pool for Multipool! Grin

We are discussing a method for combatting this.

We are currently monitoring all users hashrates over a certain period. It's possible we could use this as an indication of how much to pay each user.

what is wrong with this formula?
BlockReward (50BTC+fees)) * (Shares found by you / total shares for this round)
i find it most fair!

p.s. the miners' downtime is most annoying Sad

Consider a score based system so later shares are worth more than earlier?

That's what Slush uses and it's pretty perfect for 24/7 miners.

i really dislike this "score" method!
a share is a share no matter when it was submitted. it is a proof of work and as this should be valued
the same as every share out there!

luffy, with that system, you can avoid long blocks and only mine the whole block on short ones, this makes it more profitable for you (and less for everyone else).

Exactly, the "score" method is the way of the future and its the most fair one. Especially now that Multipool offers an easy way to exploit the regular proportional pools.

Have added my 1GH to your server  Grin

Suggestions for the web ui:

Hashrate display for workers. Average of the last 10 minutes maybe?
Stale share display for workers.
Option to reset worker data

Thats all i can think of for now.. great work with the pool Smiley

Edit: Website now seems to be down? Miners are still going.

I should now be on a move from 800MH to 1.8GH. Here's hoping we dig up a block soon!

Hi, something isn't working.
My "Estimated Reward this round" stays at 0.0 BTC, despite the worker stats are counting shares.

Sorry guys I was just changing a few things on the web front end - your estimated reward should show again in a second.

Nice Suggestions Faraday, I have those stats - but I'm just trying to optimise some scripts because it takes a long time to build them.

Throwing you 2.5ghashes under the guise of saucy.

Can you add support to change worker passwords and a way to view all worker stats easily from a mobile device? I always like to check on my miners from my phone.

cheers.
