I would like to see a manage worker feature, where i can rename, delete and sort workers. Are there any plans for this feature?

Are we still doing N = 750,000 or has it changed since the last difficulty update?  The main web site for the pool says 750k at some points, and difficulty/2 at others.

We are doing 1/2 N so it's now more like 850k

Please forgive my noobness, but I just signed up with the pool and am having trouble connecting. I'm running Phoenix via LinuxCoin, and it says "Failed to connect, retrying..." I assume it has something to do with using port 3000 because I've been able to connect to other pools via ports 8332 and 8337, but I could be totally wrong on that.

Anyone have any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? The command I'm entering is (with personal info redacted):

./phoenix.py -u http://[worker name]:[password]@mineco.in:3000 -k phatk DEVICE=0 BFI_INT WORKSIZE=128 AGGRESSION=9

Any help in getting this working would be greatly appreciated! TIA

Please add a feature where I can give someone a high-five every time they find a block.  Seriously makes me do a little dance every time.

Seconded. One of those "useless, but fun anyway" features. So why the heck not? I mean, obviously important things first, but... frownyface has a point, why not share the excitement of the pool finding a block by congratulating the one who officially found it?

I'd like to request a feature:

It would be nice if we could adjust the timezone for statistic output etc to our local timezone vs. GMT..

I did a manual payout today guys as the wallet was getting quite big. Anyone with a reward pending of over 0.25 will have received their balance.

There are plans for adding miner idle alerts but I am on holiday at the moment.

Ah, I'm glad you posted this. I was just about to come here and mention it. I was worried that something might have gone wrong. Thanks for keeping us informed! I'll never complain about getting my money early!  Tongue

Issues/requests:

- The timestamp in the api call (and I think on your site) is not UTC but British time. Currently you are giving us UTC+1. For instance currently I have "last_share_at":"2011-07-28T19:00:14Z" but it's 18:00 GMT.

- I am looking forward to the promised idle miner notification.

- You really need an easy way to donate part of the reward to the pool. Maybe allow us to set a fixed percentage, or a little box on the site from which we can directly donate from our confirmed amount, without having to go through our wallet.

Keep up the good work and enjoy your vacation...

Down to 6GH/s, miners connect and give a RPC upstream error and then sit idle Sad

The formula

N = 1/2 Difficulty

Your Reward = ((YourShares in last N shares) / (last N shares)) * BlockValue

I somewhat eluded to this in a separate thread message, but I'm curious as to why my estimated rewards keep decreasing per round.  My miners are on 24/7 and once every two days may disconnect for up to 5 minutes due to network problems or maintenance.  However, I've noticed that my eligible share-count is decreasing, even though I constantly produce more shares in the round than the eligible count.

What is the relation between eligible and actual shares produced by a miner, and what factors affect the eligible share count?

It's because the pool's hash rate has been rising.
