How would you prove it is from your own personal account?

Can you even transfer your miles to someone else without their consent?
You would need to call them to verify that both parties are accepting to do the transfer right?
This seems like a risky thing to do to me.

Delta doesn't do point transfers.  Not sure how he could pull it off.  He would have to book a flight for the buyer from his account which to say the least would be VERY risky if the account turned out to be hacked which it probably is.
