we have to build a foundation. after that we can use our funds and start development.
Said no genuine, open-source, cause ever.

The DAO has a bug; but, it's okay we are still in Beta.

Your thread has actually good humor in it, while actually reflecting on the situation on this forum. ETH and ETC (albeit arguably better because it isn't a bail-out coin) are prime examples of overvalued shitcoins that are being hyped up because of similar excuses. They even went as far as pumping it during a Bitcoin rally (today).

I really hoped users see this as a reflection of what does or does NOT work.
In a fun way of course  Grin

People the same old routine is not pushing forward any of your coin agendas.
i say that side stepping the argument of which ones are "legit"

We have a new year and i hope you see that things have to change.
Years roll by and what have any of the Altcoins accomplished ?

For 2017 we will see SunnyKing bump his weekly topic on PeerCoin then lock it again.
Which i have said is funny because locking it has decimated his exposure to the world.
But i guess he is far more concerned about being hit with FUD or something
than risking.. adoption.
Worth pointing out i have always supported his coins too.

And FUD ?
You can all view that as a good and bad thing.
What you all tend to do is side step that it is in fact warranted most of the time.
Why in gods name do you all think these coins deserve the benefit of the doubt ?
The entire history of Crypto means YES we should FUD everything always.. FIRST !
We should have FEAR and we should have UNCERTAINTY and we should have DOUBT.
Because of the context of the situation across Crypto.

Anyway.. Bitcointalk has given us the opportunity and we have abused it.
I don't blame the site for offering the freedom ..i blame the greedy losers with no morals.
The governments are fast approaching this stuff more and more.
Big name companies are eye balling this stuff.
So if there was ever a time to get our shit together it's NOW !

I think to move forward we will all have to make compromises.. i am willing to.
I want Crypto in general to move forward.. hell even if that meant i ended up supporting a coin i don't like.

To summarize i hope users consider supporting a project longer term.
Instead of trying to profit off anything short term.

Crypto desperately needs SUPPORTERS !

..think of that next time you fire off one of the cliche'd crypto defense retorts.

The humour in these forums is what brings me back. I suppose even those who demonstrate a lack of humour sometimes generate the best laughs.

When i got interested in cryptocurrencies in 2014 after Bitcoin's first impressive price explosion, I actually fell for the number 5 (It's the Silver, implying Bitcoin is the Gold).
I started to mine and keep Litecoins. Needless to say the number 5 magic has worn off for me after awhile and i started to look into other cryptocurrencies ... and the rest is history as they say  Wink

The cryptoscene can really be one big learning experience.

Learn from the past, set detailed and vivid goals for the future and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control : now

Wait! You forgot. "It's the criminal coin"

I like this one but not quite a defense of a coin.
I left 1 more spot open in case we find another cliche.
