i purchased this account december 15th. I logged in once. After that i did not log in again until last night. Once i logged in it had activity. So naturally I logged out.
 Ilogged in again and found messages today.
I never got to use this account but the person i bought it from did.
He's now NOT responding to messages at all.

Definitely was bought. I can prove that by PMs from my other old account from the seller. He tried to sell off many accounts that were used actually.

I want the original owner to get this account back.

Ieri mattina ti avevo mandato un PM e ho seguito i tuoi consigli ed ho anche impostato una domanda segreta che prima non avevo , la risposta era una frase bella lunga , la password l' ho generate con un generatore di password ( era lunga 18 caratteri tra grandi piccoli e caratteri speciali ) sulla mia email ho cambiato la password e inserito la seconda verifica e non e la stessa che ho impostato qui . Ho fatto caso che se richiedo il cambio password non mi arriva la email di reset e io avevo provato a cambiare la email impostata qui ma non ho trovato il modo di farlo .
La mia idea è che ci sia un bag su questo forum che gli permette di accedere al database delle password altrimenti non riesco a capire come sia stato possibile .

Per la prima volta credo ( non ne sono sicuro ) che quando si partecipa a vari bounty inavvertitamente ho inserito la stessa combinazione email password che avevo qui .
da ieri a oggi ho cambiato tutte le password a email pc e siti a cui sono iscritto e attivato la google autenticazione tramite app sul cellulare su tutto .
per altri chiarimenti chiedi pure , strano che un forum con tanti iscritti come questo non riesca a ripristinare un utente .

Non è sicuramente un problema del forum, il tuo account non vale nulla rispetto a quelli dello staff, dei moderatori e amministratori.
Non avrebbe senso usare il tuo e non prendere il mio ad esempio.

E' molto più facile che il tuo computer sia completamente infetto, e qualsiasi cosa scrivi venga direttamente passato all'hacker.

Ma sto usando una live linux ! come può essere infetta ? non ho usato più nulla oltre la live .

PS: l'ho trovata su un dvd allegato ad un giornale linux , per dire neanche scaricata da un possibile pc infetto .

The problem is not me it's the person who sold it to me. Btw I sent op a message to take the account back and he has not responded. Sent two messages

Se cosi' fosse credo si possa parlare di estorsione o ricatto che a naso direi che son reati che è meglio evitare ...  al quale si aggiunge il reato di furto di identità e di dati informatici ...
Pvvio che al cracker non frega nulla in quanto si colleghera' da tor e avrà il suo sistema per proteggersi ...
Non capisco pero' come mai non ci sia un sistema di recupero credenziali consegnando al titolare l'accesso.

Esiste, ma purtroppo è il recupero password via email. Dovremmo cominciare ad utilizzare informazioni extra come numero di telefono o 2FA.

La cosa piu triste è che non cè un amministratore che sistema queste cose , in modo da porre fine a questo problema e a futuri furti di credenziali per estorcere BTC .

The account was purchased earlier this month. He came back and asked for payment. I never logged into the account because i did't need it yet. I was going to use it for the signature campaign coming up in january. I saw he asked for payment recently and sent him 2 btc.

Not true what the scammer Paolo77 is writing. I transmitted 2BTC to get 120 Byteballs. The guy is still scamming. Incredible. Is the bitcoin talk team sleeping. I can prove that this transaction is mine by signing a message with one of the sending addresses.

I announced the scam to the administrators based on the PM I exchanged with paolo77. I need to find out how to give a negative feedback. I also see now that it has been also already done by someone else.
