Hi everyone Smiley
im trying to find someone who can modify a opensource chess server.
I have the domain www.bitcoinchess.com and was thinking about making some special features that are not common on other chess sites nr 1 should be placing a bet against your chess opponent for bitcoins.
nr 2 allowing to give a handicap on the clock example one player have 2 minutes for the game and the opponent have 5.
nr 3 allow to start with handicap in chesspieces example one player has - one rook in the beginning.

Regards Richard

Hi Richard,

Can you link to a (non-bitcoin) example site of the kind of thing you're after?

Cheers,
Alex

You might have better luck advertising your idea on more programming-focused sites.  I'm sure this forum has its fair share of programmers, but I would advise that you ascertain which language(s) the open-source application is written in and then seek out forums dedicated to that language.  The focal point of the development should be the server and game -- the bitcoin addition will be peripheral.

Not a miner.  An investor, speculator, and enthusiast.

If you tell me what server it is, maybe I can do it.

And as game developer, I would love to help on that Smiley
