Pretty much, it's the pattern

BTC hits $1

CRASH! down to $.50

BTC hits $31.90

CRASH! down to $10 (or $4)

BTC hits $266

CRASH! down to $100 (or $40 or whatever)

Each disastrous "crash" still ends up at a value higher than the previous peak, and is followed by another much higher peak.
