eat popcorn?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

You can still transfer your btc to sites like btc-e and bitstamp to cash out. If these sites don't implode, I'm guessing that's what a lot of people will be doing.

With so much money trying to get INTO Bitcoin and the only constraint being Mtgox it's a no brainer.

Buy as much as you can as the scarred lemmings will sell you.

The time will come to short Bitcoin.  Now is not that time.  The run aint over.

You may cancel your orders right now:

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

Yeah.  That works for me.  Cancelled my Gox account a couple weeks ago.

I decided a week or so ago that Mt. Gox is amatuer hour and I'll never use them again.  They have no affect on my decision to buy and sell.

I'll continue to not own BTC until the price is stable and climbing at a steady rate.  I really hope that is soon because I'm ready to buy back in.

I'm actually buying 3,500.00 worth of BTC at some point when they open. I'll wait a little to see how the market behaves. it might go down a little until it settles, then I'm buying! Smiley

Continue trading as if nothing happened.

When the arbitrageurs stabilize the price between exchanges, I'll start moving my capital out of Mt. Gox via the Bitcoin network (using a simultaneous "buy on Gox, sell on secondary exchange" to transfer the fiat).

I probably won't totally close my Gox account, but they won't be my only exchange anymore; if they froze trading once, they can do it again, and this volatility is something I don't want to miss out on.

If there is something that will make Bitcoin succeed, it is growth of utility - greater quantity and variety of goods and services offered for BTC. If there is something that will make Bitcoin fail, it is the prevalence of users convinced that BTC is a magic box that will turn them into millionaires, and of the con-artists who have followed them here to devour them.

below 60 at btc-e

But the volume's been tiny.

If I had a btc-e account I'd be buying big at 65, and getting ready to sell that on gox.

No way gox is going to open at 65
