Thanks for bring this up, I have also observed this too, I just think it is because of they have monopoly of mining LTC and BTC Judging from their entrepreneurial spirit, I am suprised that there are so few exchanges with only two crypto. Other tech-ish industries such as GroupOn or Uber are filled with players with varying services, so it is easy to promote other crypto as a differentiator. Is it possible Chinese Uncle Sam is regulating it? |

I think the Chinese are more into Bitcoin and Litecoin than any other Cryptos. They are the reason for pumping up bitcoin and litecoin to the levels we see now and I don't think they are done with it. They are also getting into ETH and ETC. I am expecting these exchanges to list ETC next. And we have already see ETC pumping up! |

they get 2 billion dollars daily traded volume on each of these exchanges what else do you want. even if we say a big part of it is fake volume then it is still a very huge volume to make profit from  besides the rest of the altcoins are either shit with no volume or they have a big volume but that volume is controlled by the preminers. |

I guess promoting a bunch of shitcoins to pump and dump is not the way the crypto markets work there.
Recently there has been a lot of talk in China about Monero.
Hopefully some Chinese exchanges start trading XMR. That could send the price to the moon since you would have so many new potential users.

They are nonsense coins, the vast majority of them. Some of the big-name ones actually get used--for whatever--but the rest just exist to exist. And I would imagine that it's a huge pain in the ass for these exchanges to offer the shittier ones up for trade. Like Yobit, which lists anything that can fit into a toilet bowl. If I was an exchange, I definitely wouldn't want to be bothered with that garbage. There's enough liquidity in bitcoin to sustain a profit. |

I guess you are looking in the wrong places, there are indeed Chinese exchanges for most existing alt-coins.
Keep in mind a search on US located Google and others wont reveal most of them, nor will Baidu.
The insider markets are hidden in the Tor-network and even I2P, good luck finding them and getting a login.
Keep digging around, if you really need access, but i would not spend too much money in a marked that could die any day.
Guess only the very low transaction costs would be a reason to go there.
