Do you think that this year Bitcoin will finally hit the 2000 dollars mark and beat the previous high?

We have recently seen the price just falling short of 1000 dollars for first time in a long while.

Does 1000 dollars act as a tipping point for buying or selling for the majority of Bag Holders?

Will you buy less if the price increases further or see this as a sign that the investment is a sound one for cashing out in 2020?

Bitcoin going 2000$ this 2017 is not feasible. It may possibly reach 1200$ but it will not climb up to 2000$.

With regards to the dump it is not going to happen this 2017. China has not launched their fiat virtual currency and even if they do it will took years for them to cover the whole of China before its full implementation. Even if there is dump this year bitcoin will climb up faster back to the current price and why when it will dump many people will buy it back.

If it does people with a lot of bitcoins will be happy. But wait, don't reach $2,000 yet! Please drop back to $600 again first so I can buy a boat load of bitcoins before it hits $2,000. 

However, I don't think it will really $2,000 by next year. Probably over $1,000 but not over $1,500.

For me, $2000 projection is conservative, we should reach $3000 range this year, I don't know what fundamentals will drive it but if the war on cash continues plus the currency war the price should hit $3000

in 2017 price will continue rising, there is no reason for not rising. everything looks good and there are more good news to come. and price has not risen crazy so i don't see any reason why it should fall either.

better say we recently saw a nice rise to wrap up this year with a very good experience and maximize the profit of 2016.

Secondly, it is very hard that bitcoin will be reached at $2000 in 2017. You already know that in this year, many chances was here, because of Halving, but instead of it, bitcoin couldn't cross at $1000. So don't think high speculation about bitcoin's price. But i think in the coming year, within 2 or 3 months bitcoin price suddenly down. Same like this year, in the started, bitcoin was under $300.

I doubt it will reach 2000 usd per coin due to greed.

I mean there will be some kind of theft and or closer of the markets and thus dumping btc and taking us on a down trend for the forseeable future.

It would be possible without the exchanges or markets going down though.

last year price started from $450 and the year before that price was $200 and if you loop past the MtGox fake pump you can see before that price was rising the same way every year too.

so i would not be surprised at all if we finish 2017 with $2000 or above.

i think this wont happen im experience a long confirmation time when im withdrawing today i think it almost 6hrs before i get my withdrawal on bitcoin i think its because of the traffic that cashing out or receiving bitcoin from other user. and its been affecting the bitcoin system thats why its been slowdown this time.

everyone will get the best price. of course, the higher the price the better bitcoin.

I am convinced that the current price increase is more than mere speculation as many think, as I see bitcoin taking consistency and solidity. However I still see a little distant the mark of $2,000 for this year 2017, although it is just a matter of patience. Time will tell.

2000 seems to be too far away. Let's stay realistic.
My guess 2000 dollar is a price we may see in the halving in 2020. For 2017 I don't expect a real rally except of december, since that seems a common thing this last years.

It is feasible.   No one here knows what they're talking about,  including me.  This is the speculation section after all.   $2000 is a definite possibility,  but so is $200 if we actually have a bubble that ends up popping.   Think about that.

You really cannot determine the feasibility of the price touching $2000 as who in their right mind saw the price crossing 1 dollar in the first place and look at the price of the coin now and so nothing is impossible when it comes to bitcoin and i do expect a stable growth rather than a jump to $2000.
