I don't think that's the case. Why would they otherwise today announce that they opened new bank account in UK?
They could have shut it down yesterday.

It does not make any sense to me.

Seems to be up again. Be fast, there are some BTCs available for 90$! MtGox is currently at 123...

Edit: Forget that. Just realized that everybody except MtGox is in the low 90ies...
