I see blocks being generated at a steady pace. About 1500 new bitcoins every day.
If it goes to $1, I think I will start buying each one of them.
Many mentally deluded people like you will. They will continue to toss fiat into the fire. Your HYIP delusions are beginning to set in. I saw it many times, since the times of E-Gold and the "3% daily" ponzis. Perfectly smart people being like "well, it might hold, it might be true". LOL Keep buying cheap coins!! I still need to unload a few, so I need some idiots to poor more fiat.

If this is game over, 100% reset for BTC, mining difficulties do down because costs more money to pay electricity than a BTC is worth?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

I dont understand some of you. You bought bitcoins for useless fiat which will be taken from you sooner or later (by printing more or by locking banks), then you sold your bitcoins with a loss and now you are saying bitcoin is done? Are you working for banks or what.

Exactly. I'm so happy that I own some bitcoins – why the hell should I care about dollar prices? One bitcoin stays one bitcoin.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch to think that some of them probably are.

While watching this video, imagine the bitcoin nerd panic:
I can't for the life of me, understand why any nerd would panic to see the last month gains erased. They mined their coins with CPU in 2010, and sold most of them already. Businessmen are buying more all the time, since they make money and must invest it. Only ones panicking would be the ones who bought for first time last week and do not know anything. -- Well, judging from the volume, there was quite many of them

Im not usually very fond of conspiracy theories but doesn't this look like somebody wanted to destroy Bitcoin and succeeded? How can a price swing DESTROY bitcoin? If you are a speculator only, price swings look like Bitcoin's death to you. If you are in it to build something new, price swings are meaningless. What I like about each of these crashes is it reminds you who is who.

Bitcoin is worth what, two to three times what it was worth a year ago? I think RIP is a bit premature. The coin has taken some hard knocks but it's still a great idea.

Ah, the good old days, when YOU could buy ALL the new bitcoins that were mined.
