I have searched and found that the symbol for mBTC is a small b with a line through it? The reason I ask, for my casino site I have this converter, DEPOSIT 1 BTC and your account gets credited with 1,000 (Chips) right now the 1,000 chips is listed as $1,000 with the Dollar symbol $, but I need to change it, I'm just wondering to WHAT? Many of my games will be played with 0.00 only decimals. For example 23.50 (casino chips) will be 0.0235 BTC.

I didn't even knew mBTC even had a symbol. Ok OP best you can do is 1 BTC = 1000 chips, that can be little less profitable as btc is not exactly $1000 yet. Or you can keep the same rate of 1000 chips = $1000 but just show the $1000 in btc equivalent to the current rate.

Price doesn't matter I don't think, as 1 BTC will always remain 1000 chips regardless of market price change.

Why don't you just use m BTC? Is there a problem with doing that? Right now, I don't think there is a separate symbol for mBTC.

Yes mbtc has a symbol. But it doesn't matter anyway. Actually there are more than one names to amounts lesser to one bitcoins or microbitcoins. But among them I prefer to use satoshi over mbtc its much easier and much more convenient. Satoshi can cover up to the smallest amount of bitcoin as 1 satoshi is 0.00000001 btc. So instead of mbtc why not use the word satoshi it is much easy to use.

I thought of that too, but unfortunately there's only room for one or two letters/symbol, otherwise I'd use mBTC.

I have searched and found that the symbol for mBTC is a small b with a line through it? ~ 1,000 chips is listed as $1,000 with the Dollar symbol $, ~
that symbol is not universal and i have not heard about it. so it may become confusing, even mBTC is confusing for many. and as for your chips that you are using $ sign, why don't you use a chip sign. for example you can use a coin picture with some symbols on it representing your chips and in front of it write 1000

I thought mBTC would already have a character or symbol, that's why I ask first.

So, it doesn't really matter anyway, and btc is not yet 1000$ so it will give you an accurate amount of chips if you'll convert it in 1000$ value.

It's hard to take you seriously with a username like that!! There are lots of different variations of bitcoin symbols and BTC was the most widely spread one so mBTC is the only one that makes sense at this point. m฿, mɃ, mƀ or whatever other variation is just weird.

A customized symbol will do since chips can only be used in your casino. Like your logo can be designed into a coin or chip. Then just do some variations for small chips like 5, 10, 100 or 500 chips.

Some sites have balance in mbtc and they give a symbol for it but actually its not official, the official symbol is the old and classical one that he have since beginning. But yeah I like the idea of a new symbol for mbtc and maybe satoshi also

Even if there is a symbol for mBTC,it would be confusing to many of your users as it is not popular and they will have to search to find out what it is. The best option, therefore, would be make some room to your characters limit and use Mbtc which is more popular and recognized.

I appreciate all the feedback, I think the easiest one to use is just a small b, if you look at seals with clubs. They have the same concept, 1000 chips = 1 BTC or 1 chip = 1 mBTC

mBTC will still be mbtc and there no other symbol other than that and i dont encounter such thing. Most gambling sites do always use those amount and they are always referring their coin chips 1btc=1000 chips and so on.Its easy to convert regarding on how much money you would deposit.

I think that would be a cool mtbc symbol, but if you are on mobile or another small screen it would be hard to tell the difference between that and a regular small b
