Well, Based from their ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77870.0 there was a DDos attack but it already solved.

There was a DDoS but the issue has been solved now. Sorry about the downtime and slow response.

They are also one of oldest gambling site which establised since 2012, and seems they are one of legit gambling site.

I have made a transaction to fill up the hot wallet now. Funds for withdrawal will be available as soon as it confirms. We had several players cash out with big profits.

Currently a guy has problem about his investment after DDos attack issue, still wait about their update about this problem

Just e-mailed the same to support, but I just logged in after ~3 weeks and my account is missing ~77.4 bitcoins that were invested in the site bankroll. My password also did not work. I reset password, which did work immediately, and upon logging back in the account created date was accurate but the user name was changed and the "last active" shows "0000-00-00 00:00:00"  

Please tell me I didn't get hacked/robbed for this sum of money...

Been playing at their dice for over two yers already and had no problems. I didn't really had any problems with them until that ddos attack issue came about. When it happened I moved on to other dice sites while waiting and while doing so, I realized that I enjoyed playing in other dice sites more than satoshidice. I liked bitsler better than satoshidice, it's much more intuitive.

i think satoshidice is good, if the website has been ddos attack and makes the site can be online, then the admin of satoshidice will fix and continue the business. but if for somehow, ddos attack is just for their reason to close their business and not continue then i think you have to be careful. but until now, i think satoshidice is fine and many people recommended for this site.

yeah, it is true. the new management of satoshidice is not the old trusted anymore. The website is not much popular because of many new competitors that have offers advance and good features.
But IMHO, the old owner of satoshidice is reputable and he loves his gambling site therefor he will not sell it to a untrusted person just to gain profit, I think it is still trusted

Yes, even though it is already old enough it is still good to go. Old software makes gamblers more comfortable to use it.

Because they already tried and tested it for so many years and if they are doing good with it, they will stay for it for a longer time.

But when it comes to management, maybe you need to study some more.

Yes they are trusted casino till now, but it seems they are going through several ddos attack right now. However as they are in business for really long time and have good management team behind it, i don't think they will run away easily.

I'm waiting to see their answers and reaction. I wondering about investing in their casino but I don't want to do it if they're losing everything after a DDOS attack which is something rather common around here where it's a bit the Far West of cryptocurrencies ^^

That's why their reaction is so important.
DDOS attacks are not rare at all so they have to be able to manage them without problem and to ensure that nobody gets fucked after (like the guys who lost 77btc of investment).

I do not know, I have never played in such sites. but, you can find information on facebook or in some places. but in my experience, most gambling sites are always exposed to DDOS attacks, but I do not know about SatoshiDice, maybe it is a good site. but, to give it a try, you have to start with a small amount

Has the DDOS been solved? I don't see any updates on their thread, and when I try to visit their site, it is up but I am greeted with a blank screen. I've tried this on multiple different browsers. Something that comes to mind is that I might've been blocked for whatever reason (ex. my jurisdiction, etc.) but there is no message whatsoever, just a blank screen. I also can't think of any reason why I might've been blocked from their site, so I think this might be an error on their end.

They lost some hundred btc for two clients, stopped responding all support since 12 january2016, had a whale on his first gambling day win 360btc 10% of bankroll and their wallets are all empty.
Wait until they show that they still have funds, exist, where not hacked or have their sever seeds cracked.
I had 79 btc there...got reduced to 68 and have today managed to withdraw 55 hoping tomorrow getting it all out.
Dont invest in sites that do not respond on any channel! That do not offer 2fa, have empty cold wallets.... imho.
