Wow this is fantastic news. Hope this may strengthen bitcoin all the more and become more widely spread and distributed to billions of citizens around the world this 2017. If bitcoin will not be able to strengthen itself before the launching of fiat virtual currency and banks blockchain based virtual money then it is too late. Hoping that through Microsofts effort bitcoin will be more tougher amidst any financial and market threats that it will face.

Damn, I might have a bit more of a reason to actually go and buy office instead of just using google's drive thing.

I'm surprised that they're just starting to get in on it, but considering the recent events I would be surprised if they weren't getting into Bitcoin and its economy by now.

Big news, interested to see where it takes us.

Very good news. I know that microsoft sponsored a few Ethereum conferences, I am not sure what role they will play for crypto in the future. I am sure they will be heavily involved in blockchain technology though if they are not right now.

I knew it! Since Dell now supports bitcoin. Many tech giants will follow. Its really a good news for us because Microsoft is a bigtime company. Im sure they are gonna use middle man to immediate convertion of btc to cash just like what Dell's did. I expect more companies will now go for bitcoin.

Already Microsoft was into creation of its own Blockchain technology. Now they have been started to consider it an currency. Last year end several other multinational corporations were into the bitcoin use and started going on trails on their own Blockchain.

I am not at all surprised by this news. This is a clear indication that the elite rich class have their money in Bitcoin and this would be excellent news for all the Bitcoin community. When such a big corporation regocnizes this and sets a example it's tremendous. Next I hope Google or apple starts using it as payments. This year seems to start better than ever.
