No, I don't think we will reach 1200$ by 2017. The rise has been too fast, we will get down pretty soon and pretty hardly. Let's tell it, we've all started dreaming again, even me. The newcomers are now having the feeling that they are in the "ATH story" that so many people are telling again and again. But to be frank, in that ATH, the most memorable is the hard downtrend that followed. I don't think we'll escape that patern. I greatly hope that I'm wrong, because my savings would be worth a lot more, but I think I'm right.

I usually would say no as we have gone up considerably already, but this bull run has no end it seems. It's a bit too soon to hope for the price to remain above the $1000 level, but that would be a nice target for 2017. Other than that, my feelings that a deep correction will show up any time soon have not gone away. Nothing goes up without a correction in the runup to even higher prices. I don't take any price for granted. I'm too long in Bitcoin to know that anything can happen.

I think it will reach 1,100$ in january, 2017 then it will be down under 1000$ (850$-900$) for 2 or 3 months before it hits 1,500$ in May, 2017.
that is my thought . Buy and hold bitcoin now . this is best way to get more earning.

Back to the old glory.   Although is Bitcoin price going rapidly up these days 1200$ seems little to much. But on the other hand the month has jus begun and everything is still possible if the price continue this way. I think that we are all little affraid of inevitable dump in some moment because for a long time the price is climbing up and for that reason we are a bit affraid to expect 1200.

What goes up must come down. Depending on how fast and how much it goes up, it will go down harder and more. I'd rather have btc  reaching 1200 in 3-4 months by building up a steady support than rushing it in a month. Quick gains call for quick and vicious corrections and that's something we don't want to happen.

We are already near $1050 right now and its only 2nd day of january so i think we will see bitcoin price at $1200 by end of this january. However i can't say price will remain higher than $1200 after it touches that price range, because price is pumping really hard so a small price correction is quite predictable.

Increase in bitcoin now includes a fast, although fluctuating but bitcoin prices continue to rise. I believe that prices are still going up in a few months because now a lot of factors that support the bitcoin prices to rise. Bitcoin prices touched $ 1,200 I think it will happen in early February, so it is impossible the price of bitcoin will touch that number in January. Because to be able to touch $ 1,200 bitcoin still have need processes and fluctuations will occur so it can not touch that number by too fast.

it needs a while for the $1050 and i think it will happen today, because i see on the market, the price is getting up and the trend is still up. it can be real that the price will be reach in $1100 in this january but we only can make prediction for the price.

I was going to vote on your poll but options say "na". What's the point? Is this some sort of joke?
Anyway, I think 1200 dollars is perfectly doable. We are not going to correct any time soon, it's all smooth sailing until the ATH, probably we will see some resistance out there due the psychological factor of arriving to the last ATH which is understandable since most people are scared pussies, but until we go through it and weak hands are shaken. we will march towards 2xxx+. It's set in stone.

The price has passed over 1,000$ that is a big success . This is second time we can see this price starting from the year of 2013

I am enjoying the current rush as well, but I am also realistic enough to know that it can't keep going up endlessly.

Usually we were experiencing fud articles or hacked exchanges to push the price back down at the time it went up big time, but so far nothing has happened yet.

I don't know for how long this can continue without some sort of a panic effect going through the markets. Don't forget that the higher the price is, the sooner people are ready to push the sell button.

Yes, I agree with you . This price of 1,200$ is easy to reach in january , 2017.
If it hits 1,200$ in this month, Maybe it will reach at 2,000$ in May or June , 2017.
and Bitcoin will be considered as Gold or Diamond of digital currency at that time.
