Ive started mining for LTC using p2pool and cpuminer.

The litecoinpool site has a Litecoin mining calculator page.

You enter your hashrate and difficulty and it calculates your time to find a block and expected rewards.

I know how to get the hashrate from p2pool from my localhost webserver page, but I'm not sure about the difficulty stat.

On the litecoinpool page I notice it appears to be already set to 1.42855586   I'm assuming it's set by the litecoin mining algorithm..is this correct?

if so then all I need to do is enter the hash rate, correct?

heres the page:

it looks like LTC difficulty is currently at:  234.44933551, assuming that number in the upper right-hand corner of litecoinpool is correct.

Unfortunately, that changes your estimates greatly.

I didnt see that... looks like you're right. Not worth mining in that case.
