I've seen a variety of paper wallets, but one series stood out amongst the others
Was thinking about doing an airdrop/awareness campaign with one of the designs but I can't find it unfortunately.
Sorry for the vagueness, let me know if it brings anything to mind!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

BG4 would definitely be able to pull this off, I recommend his work.  Smiley

If it wasn't a PaperSafe note you were describing I'd be interested to know which paper wallet it was.

BG4
PaperSafe.org

It wasn't these, it was closer to European style central bank notes, instead of US style federal reserve notes. Those are pretty cool too, it wasn't the green paper style though, more colorful like the plastic coated notes other countries print

yeah those are the ones, thank you. thought they'd be "out" in some capacity by now

could probably embed NFC circuitry inside of them to make them useful for actual bartering and verification

Did you by any chance mean http://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/ ?

The site also has different designs available, this picture also shows the design from bitaddress.org.

Slightly offtopic: I noticed some of the other designs linked in this thread use hologram-stickers to cover the QR-code. I always assumed hologram stickers would leave a mess when you remove them.
This one for example:
While i'm spamming the thread with pictures, here is one thing I noticed when I made a prototype on the new paper:

Almost there!

Atleast they are now on their way to Florida where we will then have them split to different countries, including our distributor in the US.

Here they are printed: https://i.imgur.com/0J8UBSt.jpg
