2011 was bad, but this time looks like we were trolled:

Why we (as a community) kept trusting on MT.Gox? and where the fuck are the real forex companies willing to earn billions with bitcoin?

No I still credit Cyprus for the run-up past $50.  Mtgox may take a huge share of the blame for the pop of the bubble though.  I think it was inevitable without any lag or DDOS.  But who knows maybe we could of sold at $1000 if they had their act together.  There is always next year.

They're afraid:  of the regulators, the governments, the bankers.

The 'real' forex companies have a crapton to lose.  It would be nice if that weren't the case - christ knows we could use a really solid exchange or two - but that's just how it is.

They'll be along eventually though.  But remember who took the risks, and how hard that can be...

Dankedan: price seems low, time to sell I think...

fixed.

We all already knew that the main flaw in the bitcoin economy were the exchanges, we centralized our economy with MT.Gox and now this is the result.
If they didn't have money (and this isn't true) for scale their own infrastructure the could had asked for help, do something like Sourceforge, mirrors with digital signatures or some other shit...
