I don't know if this counts as gambling, but I do know that it involves chance and risk.

I am leaving open the address 1HFunuF7KWwERhpQjWKLyBjsnU1BXHxR3E for people to put 2000 Satoshi each into. But here's the thing: you MUST register this address to a faucet, mining pool or cloud contract; you cannot pay with your own Bitcoin. Once I announce it is above 2 BTC, the first person the reply with their Bitcoin address, I will deposit half of the revenue (roughly 1 BTC?) into that address. (I'm keeping the other half obviously, lol Wink )

I am confused with how your raffle game is going to work. However, no one is going to participate in a paid raffle game that do not use provably fair method to select the winners. To add on, you are just a Junior member at Bitcointalk.

I'd suggest you to read more on provably fair gamling and then learn to write applications and finally start your own raffle site.

(The fees of 50% is just too high too.).

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

not a good idea

1. someone can win without even using that address to claim from faucet, mining pool or cloud contract as you said
2. why should we waste our time claiming from faucet just to enter your raffle? why should we waste our income in mining?
3. how could we know if after you posted that there is already 2btc on that address you won't use your alt account to post first the address to claim the 1btc and show us that it is fair?
4. you will get half of our effort? seriously? 1btc for just this BS idea?

This sound more like scam attempt you want to collect 2BTC with just 2000 satoshi from each participant. Have you calculated how much participant you have to get to reach that amount? And sending 2000 satoshi will cost anyone more than 10,000 satoshi in fees  Grin

Many have tried to run lottery/raffle but all of them have failed and i don't think there is anything interesting in yours too.

Yeah right, many raffle site tried their very best to run their business successfully but in the long run they failed since raffle/lottery is not very appealing and truly proven by many people since i think people find it boring and surely people prefered for those site who use's some strat and brains, and for OP's offering here surely no people would trust their centd since this lottery is so shaddy with no escrow beholding the funds for safety precaution.

This is just an another useless proposals of having a plan to run off a lottery and same as you said most people who planned on this thing do really fails because of trust issues. Regarding on this one its just like a nonsense thing on collecting 2k satoshi on each person and op don't mind on the transactions fees? also how people could be assure that this is provably fair? No escrow and not a reputable member on this forum. 2 BTC is long way to go and we cant be assure that OP will definitely run off the funds.

With the bitcoin price really getting on pumped, all possible ways of scam attempt is really possible. Come on make a better one. The output of this is clear.

So let's say your intention is true, do you think that there are still lots of people will get hooked of that mining and cloud contract method for an average bitcoiner?

Well no assurance at all, and truly the big question there is how he gonna roll the lottery and what pharapernalia he would used to make the roll more trustable, and if he would answers all the question posted in this thread surely people would get some clear answer but still doesnt guarantee that we would easily believed for it, he should used escrow as stated so people and critics will shut off about his legitimacy.

by sending 2000 satoshi to the address, people need to pay 10k satoshi fee to the miners, and you can just announce and be the first person to reply using another alt account of yours and win the 1 BTC Cheesy
