Wow...guys, gotta say I'm actually really impressed by the new UI. Very smooth, very responsive, don't even mind waiting that much when it does hang. Congrats on the new platform!

Thanks.  It's not at all near finished form.  We are going to be working hard on upgrading it and putting all the final bells and whistles on it.

The current bets are on training wheels as we inspect them as well, so one can expect faster bet speeds when we take them off.

What pages / where do you experience hangs at? Also how does speed compare to the previous version?

Maybe hang was the wrong word - it's literally not even a second, but enough to notice for me, but it seems like the loading circle is up there for a tad bit longer than needs to be - could just be my shitty work computer - or maybe it's a set time? Not sure

I'll probably get used to it haha

Ah yea its just a visual affect. We will modify it. Overall, how does the speed compare to the previous version?

BCC was not collected or distributed.  We encouraged all users to withdraw ahead of the Aug 1st fork and a small number of people made previous arrangements to collect their BCC while still part of the house bankroll.

We will not, nor ever, support BCC in any shape or form.

(…)

When you acquired MoneyPot nearly two years ago, investors were in profit. Now investors are at a loss while MoneyPot itself continues to profit at their expense. In no small part this is because at some point you decided to expose investors to a dangerous amount of risk despite being warned of the consequences multiple times. Understandably, there is some mistrust towards you.

Distributing the BCH that rightfully belongs to investors–you say as much yourself–would go a long way towards regaining some of the goodwill you've lost. Multi-currency support is already one of your main features and Bitcoin Cash's API is virtually identical to Bitcoin's, making it fairly trivial for you to make that money available.

So I don't understand why you would take this position and leave what is essentially free money for your investors on the table. The only rational explanation that comes to mind is that MoneyPot is insolvent and does not hold enough BTC and BCH to meet its liabilities towards investors.

As a former MoneyPot investor myself, I'd love for you to prove me wrong by demonstrating your solvency–like MoneyPot regularly used to before you stopped doing it.

At the very least you should publish a list of MoneyPot's addresses at the time of the fork so that we may verify that the majority of BCH has in fact not been claimed as you say. You would not need to provide your current addresses, so there should not be any serious privacy concerns, but providing this proof to a universally trusted third party like dooglus would also be acceptable.

We make no disputes that overall investors had accumulated a loss.  While the risk was above 1x kelly, it can not be attributed directly to the losses.  Several sites have operated at a much higher kelly level and have done just fine (with some even praising and expecting such returns as a result).

Throughout our control, we took steps to adjust to each investor shortcoming, often taking potential and actual losses from our own side to make up for this.  We made our BCC and other policies known. We never hid the risks involved and we did not go out of our way to publicly invite users to invest or take part of the bankroll.  We have agreed to compensate and credit our investors directly from earnings from different streams of revenue and we intend to keep this promise.  No Moneypot team member has received a single dividend nor has been paid for work performed.

We stick by our past statements and policies.  The plan is and always has remained the same.  Moneypot is going to upgrade to V2, migrate away from gambling being the main focus, and work towards becoming a more complete web wallet solution.

We have advised this same plan to focus on long term growth, stability, and security.  After this upcoming phase, the next steps will be instilling the help of the most trusted escrows to carry forward with funds in a very consumer protected manner. Many have divested or left, many have stayed throughout, and others have returned and welcome the coming of V2 and beyond.  We want to make every customer happy, including that of old and that of new.

All of our efforts are going towards the next phase and step to make Moneypot and everyone involved content. We are committed to this and we will stand by it.  This thread will be locked as we are closing the chapter on V1 and moving towards the V2 one.  We thank all those that support this same notion and welcome you to join us in our next transition.
