The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

They had a price drop on the 150 Mh/s to $300 ea, which means it would be a better value to pick up 6 of those than one of these. I know its more cabling, but your saving over 500 bucks, plus they might still be running the buy 4 get 1 free deal.

Yeah but truth be told you are betting on X11 coins etc. if btc rises could work or just suck all cash flow out of X11 etc coins and all Alts. Me waiting on any equip. I have stuff still good roi'd with scrypt Seems silly right now to spend say 3 btc, IF the hype is true on 3k btc at the End of the year. Doubt as of now I'd make 3 btc clear profit with elec paid etc ON any type crypto equipment if above is the case

I've been considering one of these for months but the idea gets killed every time I look at the difficulty vs returns vs estimated future returns.

I have 2 of the 150 units. They run extremely stable and I haven't really had issues with them. PLugged them in and they have been going for over a month now. Baikal's support has also been great. But I agree, it comes down to betting on pretty much, the X11 algo. Hopefully I didn't waste 900 sum bucks.

ROI is very similar to GPUs. Selling GPUs is easier due to larger market, but ASIC miners are also ht products among miners

Selling GPUs is easier due to larger market, but ASIC miners are also ht products among miners I think ROI on GPUs is easier and there are more miner rewards daily with ETH/ZEC/XMR then DASH. Plus who knows how many more of these ASICs they will manufacteur. I would only buy this for 3 months ROI max, not worth the risk paying anymore. You can buy GPUs, Antminers, Scrypt Miners instead.

Me too - exactly the same. I actually almost got one used on Ebay but the guy just wanted way too much for it.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL
I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

Me too - exactly the same. I actually almost got one used on Ebay but the guy just wanted way too much for it. ; I had 4k in 2 5 card 480x gpu rigs...I looked at the figures and bailed...took a 1K loss...just ran like a little girl..that was about 3 weeks ago? Made the money back with the rise...kinda/sorta...spooky (if I count also the loss on next years taxes on equip at 25% off equip vs what I'll mine in taxes) sometimes it pays just to be stupid / lucky on mining AT the time tossed myself out of the boat so my buddy could roi on the stuff and keep the coin the last 2 months and get a 1k discount hell maybe I'm learning something since 2013 and BFL fiasco! (doubtful but a guy can dream)! Lucky at crypto unlucky with women..wish it was vice versa....on the other hand 10K btc with 100 plus btc I'd be DAMN attractive then This whole crypto thing is like a game of FROGGER with ASIC'S on a difficulty road in the dark. stupid and lucky....like a drunk on the freeway that never gets hit....
