Hello,
I'm all new but have quickly seen an opportunity to get into the business of exchange Bitcoin to EUR/USD/GBP and other currencies. I see that there are services out there that allow your wallet to be loaded by Bank transfer and found 3 names of banks that will work with BitCoins.
However, do you know what banks actually would allow an exchange service or at least are Bitcoin friendly? I would like some names or even references.

I do not know much more about this bitcoin allowed to exchange by Banks. I usually exchange bitcoin from some big exchanges online such as: XAPO, cryptopay, perfectmoney... and I use debit card to withdraw money at ATM station.

Thank you for your reply. But it is not what I'm asking for. I want to get into the exchange business. Open my own exchange business from crypto currency to real money!

The more immediate question is whether your jurisdiction requires a license to run an exchange, which many do. If a license is required and you don't have one, no reputable bank will work with you.
Assuming you meet all the applicable regulatory requirements (if any), why not just ask the banks you are interested in working with?

I dont see any bank directly working with bitcoin exchange, it is exchanges who are buying and selling the bitcoins through their banks or through their own way. no bank work with bitcoin as they are against bitcoin.

Bitcoin exchanges needn't buy or sell Bitcoins themselves at all. Their customers provide the liquidity, so an exchange only needs to be able to receive deposits and pay out withdrawals. To that end they certainly work directly with banks. For example, Kraken works together with Fidor.

Depends on the country you come from. In Germany for instance, there is Fidorbank which allows realtime trading with major German exchange Bitcoin.de via SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area). Both the exchange and the bank are regulated. This is a very convenient method.

Well its risky to depend on friendly bitcoin bank. Because it can in any minute close ur account and deny agreement. U must calculate this risk to your business, depend on at least 3 diffirent bank accounts at all times etc. U can never be sure in bank world.

In my country I do not able find any bank supports bitcoin and My Country's government still consider bitcoin as decentralized money inside the country. If could that is possible even I will invest something via bitcoin and start any businesses.

I dont think theres any bank like that is existed. Bank is against bitcoin because they are opposite on purpose. I never heard it before but it would be great if theres one existing. For me, i will never store my btc on bank which is bitcoin friendly. Why? Because i dont want my identity to be expose. Bitcoin is anonimous and banks is the opposite. You should be aware bout that.

Don't think the bank wants to be friends with bitcoin at anytime because they deal in fiat and see bitcoin as a rival. Just what I think about this but I might be wrong in the future because who knows what that holds for us.

you'll get much more informative answers if you tell us what country you're in. for instance if you're in the uk then you can effectively forget it. no bank will touch you at present. there are gbp options but they're in the eu so customers have to wire it to there.

I had the same problem when I started out, and in those days banks were more hostile towards Bitcoin. The solution was to email the exchange where you wanted to register with, and ask them which banks they deal with. If they allowed the exchange's business, then they will not have problems with the users signed up at that exchange.
In the end, I had to open a separate bank account at another bank, but it was actually a good move. If I gambled with my main bank account, I would have run the risk of having my bank account closed/blocked. So it turned out much better than I thought.
I would suggest opening a new account at a Bitcoin-friendly bank for Bitcoin stuff only. If anything happens < policy changes > then your main account is protected. ^smile^

First of I would like to clear that we are living currently in system which is made by human for exchange of goods with money (Fiat currency), Which is controlled by banks and governments. But... Bitcoin is different from such tradition methods. Still Major banks are playing and testing with blockchain technology for better administration and quality services. But till date no bank have been legally started to accept bitcoins as a payment option.

I think it will be hard time for you finding this kind of exchange since banks are not really accepting bitcoin. Its also depends on what country you are living. Mine, im using a local wallet which i can convert my btc into local currency. Ofcourse theres an option that you can deposit the money directly to my local bank account. Find instead a local wallet. Banks that directly exchange your bitcoin into money is impossible for now because they are against each other.

As i mentioned a few days ago banks will not want to do business with bitcoin. They want to use the blockchain technology to make their own way of payments into accepting and receiving funds to and from their customer accounts. There is to much regulation in place to make it a viable solution for the banks to work with bitcoin. They will be paying to get that approved and why would they spend money to do that anyways? I think you said you got the feedback you wanted so I suggest you to close this thread. By lock your topic in the bottom left side of the screen. Your welcome.

Atleast here on finland i've heard banks called "S-Pankki, Osuuspankki and Nordea" are bitcoin friendly if that is what you meant. Did you mean banks whom allow to store bitcoin or whom are just friendly with bitcoin related businesses?
