Bitcoin just dropped to under 900$ and it keeps going down

fortunately, yesterday i am able to buy bitcoin so if i sell now, i am getting good profit but i think i will hold it as i want to see the increase price so i can get more nice profit. but we don't know what will happen when china new year come since we still have 1 day later but i only hope that the price will be increase more.

The price of bitcoin drops and rises every minute and it is okay to have 10% difference in price within the day, because nothing regulates bitcoin from the outside like government or some companies. In fact, I believe these fluctuations actually provide bitcoin with a specific stability, because it doesn't resist the changes but eventually goes back to some normal state which is also changing. It is just like in ecology some systems sustain stability with resistance and others are flexible and actually flexibility is stronger than resistance.

Btc is something you can't handle easily. As many said before here, buy low sell high. It's not always a good move tho. You have to think the goods and the bads of your choices, and then do the right thing.

Well said. Circuit breakers might do good to the value of certain stocks and protect investors, but it is an aberration from true free markets.
Bitcoin might fluctuate widely, but it does find its true value quickly.

I have cashed out a few coins, not because I am scared or following the hype, I have over the years tried to become half reliant on bitcoin and mining, And I have bills to pay, so I have to secure a few months money whilst bitcoin does its thing.

I am still a total believer in bitcoin and I still hold a small wad in the hopes I can stop working lol

Nothing wrong with cashing out as long as it isn't due to panic or any form of disbelief, which as you stated isn't the case.

People fail to understand that short term happenings won't have any impact on the long term price. It's an obvious fact that people can clearly see when looking at the all time charts.

That's exactly why I never get in panic or lose faith. I know Bitcoin with all its potential will recover from any sort of negativity caused by people's incompetence and greed.

That is always the question, and we have no way to know where the bottom is, but I think the price seems to high to buy a the moment we need to wait a little bit more before buying.

That is right. I also think the time now is good to accumulate the bitcoin. The price is low because of the fear of fork.
