Someone changed my profile to say Warning: Trade with extreme caution!

It is okay to be careful when lending to me as long as I am new here. It is a little extreme to say "extreme caution". I am not a scammer or anything.

What can I do to change this?

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Yes god changed it because you are looking for a loan and offering nothing as collateral. That mark will never come off now.

I believe if he contacts the person who left him trust, they'd tell him to wait a few weeks or months and be an active member of the community before they remove it. Well, I know I'd do that.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1741193.0
Hi, I need 10 BTC for my tuition payment due in one week. My school is University of Washington. Will pay 1% interest per month, up to 6 months. I may return the BTC earlier than 6 months, and interest will be calculated at 1% per month. I would be willing to provide name, address and copy resume as collateral.

Can any lender help me out?

A brand new account (Date Registered: Today at 03:59:52 AM), asks for a 10BTC loan with no collateral. (Or are you truly saying that name, address, and copy of resume is a collateral?)

You come to this forum, make an account, do not bother to read the stickies and rules, and then you ask for $9,310 loan.
(Not even 30 mins after creating that account, you're already on the lending section and asking for a 10BTC loan.)

If you had bothered to read the stickies, you would know that a collateral's value must be at least 120% of the loaned amount and can be sold easily by the lender.

And now, you're here asking why and how you got that negative feedback?  Huh Shocked
1. Lock your topic asking for a loan without any valid collateral.
2. Spend several months contributing to the forum and then ask Ecuamobi, Timelord2067, and ThatRandom8543 to review your conduct and remove the negative.

It is okay to be careful when lending to me as long as I am new here. It is a little extreme to say "extreme caution". I am not a scammer or anything.

What can I do to change this?

First of all read the rules well. Especially the ones involving money (and lending).
Then make another account. At least the one negative feedback I've checked is valid; you can google more about the negative feedback if you want to learn. Search for: negative feedback site:bitcointalk.org

Again, please read a little more before making the new account, since else you'll end up again with negative feedback sooner or later.

You are given the negative trust and the reason is mentioned clearly .
Brand new user asking for a
big loan without valid
collateral

I don't think your rating is going to be removed even if you request to the member who gave it.
You are a newbie but ignorance of law is no excuse.

I've only now just noticed your loan request, and have also followed up with tagging you. Loans shouldn't be given out without collateral anyhow, especially not to new members.

Read the following: [EDU] The Rule of "No Collateral, No Loan" - IGNORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!.

I took a look at one of the other feedbacks left to him as well.(by Timelord2067)

Turns out he also created a thread, asking for "Best Ways to Scam".

So, it's not just a case of a user asking for a huge loan without collateral while being "unaware" of the rules, as he's making it out to be.
He's also admitted to stealing as well as "not having an issue taking advantage of trust".

Good find and a pretty sad one. I don't understand then why he's complaining then...
On the bright side, if all the scammers on this forum would have to ask around how to do scams, they would be much easier to avoid.

I hadn't noticed that, thanks. And thank you Timelord2067. I've added an extra negative to OP.

I was going to say that OP should follow neochiny's advice but of course that would cover only the no-collateral loan, not the explicit intent to scam.

The archive website is actually used for cases such as yours, where users tend to cover their shady behavior. That link is the evidence sufficient for proving that the thread existed at one point in time, i.e. was created by you. Trying to hide it just made all of this worse.
