Do happen to know of any good Bitcoin exchange operating on the deep web that would allow me to exchange altcoins for BTC or viceversa?

I just want to be able to exchange an altcoin into BTC in an anonymous and secure way, without leaving trace of the amount of coins exchanged, etc.

Nevertheless, if you happen to know of any good exchanges, then please let me know. I would greatly appreciate your help with this.  Smiley

A lot at deppweb but 99% of it is a scam. Plss don't risk your money at deepweb hackers can track your wallet address and hack it or whatever they can do. Just exchange your bitcoin or trade it with the legit trading sites here in surface web. Don't go deepweb it's a big gamble to trade there Smiley

Yes it is too dangerous and high risk, I think the OP can use service exchange on this forum (I think on currency exchange section it is anonymous too) or using other services exchange are like paxpul and localbitcoin.
That ways are more safe than use deepweb service for exchange the coins with taking risk for losing money.

Are you aware bout having transactions on deepweb? Deepweb is very dangerous place to exchange your btc. Though some site there is trusted. But most of them are just scam. We have a lot of exchange here. We got bitstamp, localbitcoin, coinbase etc. All of them are on clearnet and trusted exchanges. We are talking about money here. Its really hard to entrust your btc to someone whos hiding on deepweb. Those are shady people.

I do not know if there bitcoin exchange in the deep web, but if it's there I think it is very risky. Accessing the deep web has great risk, are particularly vulnerable to the hack. So I think it is not recommended because it can harm and remove all your bitcoin. We recommend to bitcoin exchange in general because it is much safer.

Mostly exchange site was offering a generated address for every transaction and why you are looking for about the deep web exchange site?
There is no exchange site in the deep web, mostly people in the deep web just use the crypto for person to person transaction.
Combining the exchange site and mixing service are already enough for you.

The closest you're going to get to this atm would be by using Bitsquare, this is a decentralized exchange which uses TOR for end-to-end encrypted communication.

Yes, exchanging with our forum members is one of the easiest anonymous way of doing it.

I heard shpeshift is not maintaining any log for our transactions and they are not obviously requiring any account set up too. So just using shapeshift through some VPN connections will be getting all the benefits of deep web.

Thanks for the advice. I thought that there was at least a trusted exchange running under the deep web that would allow me to exchange BTC in an anonymous way. If it's not worth the risk, then I guess that I'll stick with the ones in the surface web. I usually exchange BTC on instant exchanges like Shapeshift that doesn't require an account for you to exchange your coins in a sort of anonymous way.  Wink

Are you aware bout having transactions on deepweb? Deepweb is very dangerous place to exchange your btc. Though some site there is trusted. But most of them are just scam. Thanks mate for the helpful advice. I've been scammed by some deep web markets quite some time ago, and I have been very picky when it comes to hand over my BTC to the services listed out there. The only reason I made the question in the first place, was because I thought that at least there was a trusted exchange running under the deep web that would allow me to exchange my BTC in an anonymous, and secure way.  Undecided

Thanks mate. Looks like it may be worth a shot. Do you happen to know if it has good liquidity? Just asking because I have seen many decentralized exchanges that have lack of liquidity.

But other than that, this might be a great solution for what I'm looking to achieve.  Smiley

I'm curious as to why must it be on deep web? You could just mix your coins to remove traces from where they came and where they are going. On top of that simply make an anonymous account on a site like Poloniex and use it through a VPN etc. Should be good enough, right?

I don't trust deep web exchange because most of them were scammers and it might lead you to loss of investments. Being legit and good bitcoin exchange doesn't need to be in the deep web, it should be in the world wide web for to gain trust and transparency to everyone who would like to invest.

Yeah but I was looking more into deep anonymity with the deep web, if possible. By combining Tor, VPN, and a mixer from the deep web, then I think that I could achieve true anonymity with it.

Still, if it's way too risky to become achieved at the deep web, then I would just stick to the method you gave me. It seems good enough to at least exchange coins, in an anonymous way on the surface web.

As for anonymously trading fiat for BTC, I think that there is no other way than doing it personally with cash.

Nevertheless, if there are any other methods known to help preserve my privacy when exchanging coins, then please let me know. I'm always on the look for top level privacy when transacting in cryptocurrencies.  Wink

True. But if you're careful enough to follow certain precautions, to help ensure true anonymity, then there should be nothing to worry about, in my own opinion. If you disable plugins like flash and javascript, as well as use a PC which you don't normally use connected to a VPN and Tor, then you will be safe.  Wink

Thanks for the advice, mate. That is a very common guideline to follow when ensuring anonymity within your exchanged coins. The only thing you would need to be careful though is to never do anything without a VPN, as it will expose your IP address and leave a trace of who exchanged the coins at a specific point in time.

The best way to do this would be, to follow your guidelines, in addition to use VPN and Tails OS to leave absolutely no trace of what you were doing.

Also, I've seen that a new mixing method called TumbleBit will be coming to Bitcoin, which will help ensure greater anonymity over traditional mixing services. I hope that this would turn out to become very useful once it becomes officially released. Just sharing my thoughts.  Grin

I also think that in the current state the chances of users having losses are greater than using conventional means. There are certainly ways to avoid taking unnecessary risks, such as checking other users' reviews or checking for reliable reputation systems.
It is possible that over time, with more competition in the market and more reliable reputation systems, things will become easier for users who want to use such exchanges.

The Blockchain will show every Bitcoin transaction. The best thing you could do is use a trustworthy Bitcoin mixer. I'd stay as far away from any exchange on the deep web. The sites are completely anonymous and once you send your coins it's basically like saying good bye to them. Stick to the reputable sites. Use mixers and regulated exchanges unless you want to lose your coins.

P.S I do not endorse the use of mixers but each to their own I guess...

I think if you want to be as anonymous as possible, a mixer is out of the question. You have no idea who owns that mixer, not to mention there are some scams and shady looking sites (darklaunder.com etc) which could catch you out.
I heard btc-e is a good one, it is a chinese exchange but they do have an english page. I'm pretty sure they have no trading limits, and the only thing you can;t convert into is fiat.
I guess check the reviews of a mixer before you select it (very carefully!) and use some altcoin which has anonymous features (Dash, Monero whatever).
