Do happen to know of any good Bitcoin exchange operating on the deep web that would allow me to exchange altcoins for BTC or viceversa?

I just want to be able to exchange an altcoin into BTC in an anonymous and secure way, without leaving trace of the amount of coins exchanged, etc.

Nevertheless, if you happen to know of any good exchanges, then please let me know. I would greatly appreciate your help with this.  Smiley

Actualy theres so many exchanges thats we  can introduce ,but in the means of low processing fee or who operating in the deep wave situation,i suggest the yobit exchanges and bittrex, because based on my experience in trading they have a low processing fee,and very accomodate exchange thats can be used easily and friendly to the newbie of the first time who want to learn themself on how to trade, and theres a manual on you tube in how to know to trade as a beginner in trading crypto.

Maybe you can try this method to convert your bitcoins into reputed altcoins,in LBC there are some traders offering altcoins also for our bitcoin but it is only very limited coins available ther, where we don't have any traces of our coins because it is all happening from person to person, but it is highly risky though.

There is no illegal exchangers today and most of them are legalized, deep web is only for hidden transactions such as drug laundering, just use kucoin or hitbtc so you can safely invest or sell your coins.

I stumbled across this topic and I know this is an old one, but just in case you guys are still active and want to be private.

https://bisq.network/

Bisq is the exchange you are looking for, decentralised and private (Tor integrated!).

You're welcome!

 Grin

Well its more secured since it is TOR integrated but still I am in doubt about as long as it is in deep web.Though the main issue here is privacy but still Its very risky in my opinion  and its better to transact on legit  exchanges.

I think every exchange will definitely leave a trace in the wallet, and I think the exchange of bittrex and binance is a good exchange.

That's what I've thought at the first place, since many exchanges nowadays comply with KYC/AML regulations. However, I believe that this is bound to change soon, as Atomic Swaps are implemented with the inception of the Lightning Network. Once it becomes ready, then it'll become much easier and private to exchange Bitcoin to any other cryptocurrency. Until this happens, then I'm afraid that the only vital option would be to use an instant exchange like ShapeShift or Changelly over Tor.

I agree with you that Bittrex and Binance are good exchanges, but they still suffer from centralization risks. Eventually, people would migrate to decentralized alternatives to gain better protection of their cryptocurrency funds and remain as private and anonymous as possible. However, it will all depend if they would adopt them over centralized exchanges in the future or not.

Nevertheless, perhaps someday we will get to see a serious exchange running within the deep web. Roll Eyes

There are some site in deep web for bitcoin exchange. Where exchange very risk for everyone, because many site are scam in deep web bitcoin exchange. In my opinion it is not better to exchange in deep web, where you may lost your assets. So you should be join in trusty bitcoin exchange site.

If anyone's paranoid, let alone dim, enough to use a dark web Bitcoin exchange then they shouldn't really be using Bitcoin at all. There are more convenient methods of allowing someone to steal your money. Just hand your cash to a random outside your house. Or you can go full anon and throw it out of someone else's window.

Honestly, I believe that's the only way to buy/sell Bitcoin anonymously without getting scammed. Doing everything in a peer-to-peer fashion by exchanging hard cash to Bitcoin is ideal if we are paranoid about our privacy. The deep web is extremely risky nowadays since it's been the heart of scams, and theft for quite some time. Only a few legitimate services exist there, but they're very scarce as most services offered are complete scams.

I'd be surprised to see a legitimate instant exchange which would allow you to trade Bitcoin to Monero (or viceversa) anonymously within the deep web. It'll allow you to buy/sell Bitcoin for Monero without the fear of a third party watching every transaction you've made so far. For complete anonymity, it's best to use VPN alongside Tor, to exchange Bitcoin to Monero and avoid getting caught by prying eyes.

Nevertheless, the only viable methods would be exchanging fiat to Bitcoin in a P2P fashion or exchanging Bitcoin to Monero within Shapeshift or Changelly behind a VPN. Smiley

Well, I’ve heard about several deep web exchanges, but I wouldn’t recommend any of them. Is it really necessary for you to trade anonymously? Sure thing, it’s your business, but maybe you should consider something more secure? I’ll give you an example of my experience. I’m dealing with cex and provided them with some info about myself in order to verify account. In exchange I’ve got of safety measures like 2FA, encrypted data, cold storage etc. When you’re dealing with deep web exchanges your identity remains totally unknown, but at the same time you’re risking to lose your money. So, maybe you should consider using well-known exchanges?  If not, well, I tried to help😅

Try to keep away from the deep web exchanges, they are mostly scams.

There are a lot of open anonymous exchanges you can use like Changelly, Changer to trade. My personal favorite is CoinSwitch which aggregates all major exchange and provide anonymous trading.

Thanks. That's true, but I prefer an exchange on the deep web (or something similar) that would allow me to trade my Bitcoins anonymously without trace. Since most exchanges on the deep web are scams, there's nothing left to do but simply trade Bitcoin in a P2P fashion (with fiat). Last time I've checked, Shapeshift exchange now requires KYC which is quite troublesome after being an exchange which didn't require ID verification or creation of accounts for quite some time. This now leaves me with lesser options to choose from, as more exchanges are complying with KYC/AML laws which threatens anonymity.

Still though, I use well-known exchanges for regular trades, but for certain transactions, I prefer full anonymity. That's why decentralized exchanges and P2P exchanges may be the best bet towards achieving anonymity without ever giving your ID to any third party. Nonetheless, I wish that there would be a better alternative to Shapeshift where everything is done instantly without requiring ID verification at all. Smiley

Yes. I've found about that the hard way, unfortunately. Now, I'm using exchanges within the clearnet, but sometimes they're not enough towards achieving full anonymity. Using Tor + VPN helps in most cases, but exchanges which ask details about your email to create an account, are not fully private, IMO. Just checked on CoinSwitch and seems like its nice alternative, although not all trading pairs are listed there. I'd be surprised to see an instant exchange in the future that would make use of Zero-Knowledge Proofs and smart contract technology, to trade from one cryptocurrency to another without ever requiring ID verification.

Of course, I may be dreaming but if people see that their privacy is being threatened by the government, then a fully private solution may be devised in the future. Whenever it'll be on the deep web, or simply on the clearnet (normal internet), if it doesn’t track you or require ID verification, it'll be all you'll ever need to exchange crypto without middleman. After all, that's been Bitcoin's purpose since day one, but centralized exchanges have dominated the space unfortunately, which brings back the middleman. Sad

post-shapeshift, it seems like the options have dwindled to changelly behind VPN. or binance.

do we have any other options? btc-e's descendent, wex was an option for a while, but they shut down withdrawals for everything but XMR and USDT. not sure if they were hacked or what, but they've been silent about the whole thing. there's bisq, which i like, but there's not many people using it.

i'm certainly looking forward to the day when a DEX can replace these things, but it seems like we're still years away. Undecided

As you know deep web is dangerous lot of illegal website because it contains illegal trade and scams sites and all of the users of are anonymous. If you're going to find an exchange market there well you are risking your money plus your life to the FBI because if you're related to any transactions there then you are being part of them. You can find market place but not for crypto, you can use crypto there to buy something.

Select those exchanges which are highly rates so that you may not need to go for other sites which may trap you as you need to stay safe in every single step here in the crypto world. If you are on the right path then do not think of any hacking or scam issues but safely continue your trading. If you have precious coin like Bitcoin then go for Binance and Coinbase etc which are highly rated and you will have no doubt about anything happens.

Yes. Unfortunately, centralized exchanges continue to dominate the cryptocurrency ecosystem, despite that crypto was created to eliminate the middleman after all. Day by day, centralized exchanges are becoming worst as they require KYC to do nearly anything on them. As for Shapeshift, it was a good exchange for quickly trading a cryptocurrency to another without the need to create an account, making it completely anonymous. However, once they've implemented KYC, they've turned out to become like any other centralized exchange, IMO.

Nevertheless, the only options right now are decentralized exchanges like Bitshares, CryptoBridge, Bisq, and Waves DEX. They may not have the same amount of liquidity as centralized exchanges, but they're still the best bet when it comes to anonymity and privacy. Hopefully, they could continue to advance in terms of development and mainstream adoption, as people become interested in privacy and security.

As for me, I'll just use VPN + Tor to access the Bisq decentralized exchange for some of my crypto trades. Exchanging Bitcoin to Monero would be the most ideal option right now, especially since Bitcoin lacks privacy. Smiley
