For me gambling is just fun it is always good to get profit gambling but I never see it as a way to make money. Even if I had loads of money I would still gamble albeit the stakes would probably be higher.

In the first place, why would we allow to lose that much, I think that is not being wise because we are suppose to spend a small amount of money when we are only gambling for entertainment purpose. We need money to survive our life, that is why we will go to work and earn money. If money would not be a problem then why should we think about other things we can just enjoy our life. But there are many rich people become a poor people because of this gambling addiction so we should have control over our emotions.

I must say you are confident enough to stand with your foolish acts. How can you think that gambling can make your life full of fun? Don’t you realize that you are addict of it, unintentionally? Lose your money even you have set all the limits on you. Still there are losses within those limits and your fun is just making shoots. Wake up and see the things closely.

But i think still there are a number of people even in my area who are playing gambling regularly for more than 30 years and stilll they do not even regret for their gambling habits, but are really enjoying and getting fun from it. I think it is in your own hand that how you treat trading. If you are playing gambling in a wrong way they defiantly you will crate problem for yourself. but if you have certain limit for playing gambling and never try to exceed that limit. You play gambling for a specific amount of money, then it is for sure that you will enjoy gambling and will really get fun from it.

The reason for this thing is that, these people who are gambling for 30 years and not regreting every single cents they spend in gambling because they look at gambling as entertainment and for them it is natural to spend money since entertainment cost money.  Example is the games people are playing, many players spend money on these games and yet they do not regret it even once because they really enjoyed it same thing with gambling.

If the gambler truely realise that he is just having fun and killing some spare time , that gambling isn't a real source of income and is only a fun activity and nothing more , then world will be a better place and we won't see homeless people who used to lead decent lives and had a bright future ahead of them and their families . Gambling should be considered as having fun and should be made by amounts of money that won't let their user's financial status at any risk .

I gamble for the sole purpose of making money so should in case I am a multibillionaire, I really don't think there will be any reason for me to gamble in the first place and I will not make someone take away my had earned cash.

Exactly! And as for me, why would I even bother gamble if I have a lot of money?  And if I  gamble, I might lose all my money and that would make me poor. Gambling is for entertainment purposes but to avoid bankruptcy, avoid gambling. Actually, there are a lot of ways to have fun without losing money. If I have a lot of money I would rather enjoy myself and my family by having a vacation or by traveling around the world.

It looks you understood OP post wrongly. He never said he will bet a huge amount of gambling because he is playing for fun so he knows how much can afford for his fun activities. If you already know that you're playing only for fun then they will think many times about how much money can use for gambling and most of these people never deposit again even if they lose all their bankroll immediately but they may come back some other day for fun again. People who gamble for money usually overspend on these games.

I Will not. What I will do is I will open businessess because that is where I can make sure that my money will grow instead of spending a lot of them to gambling. I think the reason why rich people still gambles because they have don't something to spend their time where they will feel their true purpose.

It seems that you are a profit seeking gambler .and you have claimed to give up on gambling if it would not be for the sake of earning money.

All I want to say is that fun is another aspect that is praised by the gamblers and I include myself too in the list of those that won’t think about giving up on gambling even after losses because I play when I get the free time and do not waste extra money if loss does occur. So being not addicted to it is luck indeed.

I will occasionally, I don't want to be addicted to it (again). I'll drop by at a casino let say once or twice a month just to let go of my stress. Literally speaking, I do play only for fun and entertainment (It started when I got married). My main purpose why I gamble (now) is to have fun and to be entertain. I don't think much of winning or earning from it because I easily get disappointed so I set my mind that "I'm here to enjoy nothing more and nothing less".

That's why self-control is a must. It is indeed that having a huge loss can be deceiving. Higher stake, Higher risk, Higher loss it can lead to something worst if not prevented. A mindset like this could cost you your fortune and most likely will end up broke, lots of debts and worst dead. I must agree with gambling once a month or week is considerable as gambling for fun. Having that said gamble every day (Land based and/or online casino) is not considered as for fun, it's an addiction. One is an addict to thrill and excitement that can also lead to a lot of negative outcomes. Too much is bad they said.

My answer to it is a big yes. If money would not be a problem, I would still gamble according to my routine because I am not a problem gambler at all. Yes I still find myself gambling because it is the bread and butter of business, in a general sense. Gambling, per se, is part and parcel of all business endeavors because at first, you would need to shell out capital to start a business on the premise that you will profit out of your capital depending on your prediction as to when your return on investment will find its way back to you.

I dont think most of the people who gamble needs money, I mu self gamble not because I want to multiply my coins but I just want to be entertained or I treat it as a pass time not to generate income. If thats what other people think of gambling then they are not in the right direction, most likely they will end up losing.

I am not into gambling, but to answer your premise, I think I would try if money is not an object. However, knowing myself, I think I would stop the moment I lose because I would then think that there so many other uses with the money that I have. But most of us would really play gambling as a source of income which is common among gamblers and losing small amounts on my plays do really hurts me thats why i dont play too much and dont tend to add up more money if i lose up on that particular day. If the situation comes that if money wont be a problem then i would really still gamble but just for fun still only the changes only here is that you do have the money to spent on.

First of all, let me tell you that I am not the son of the rich and not of the rich. My environment is really low, slum and poor. Yes, it's not very slum like the one in the village. But I can not say I'm from a rich family and I have to work hard to help parents and to support my family. So if you ask people like me, they will not want to use their money for gambling. Surely they will use their money for something more useful and more fun. For example, like doing a hobby, help parents, buy a house, get married, courtship, traveling, and so forth.

There are lots of things are much more interesting than gambling.

If money wasnt a problem then i would be gamble but not for the profit but just for fun and enjoy the game, sometimes when i play for profit i tend to lose so much but when i play for fun i usually win.
