China or governments have not any control to bitcoin. Bitcoin is "clear money" that took all the best sides of other payment instruments. But it's true that the demand in China for bitcoin is upper than in any other country and it can make some effect on it's price.
That was a surprise to me to se that bitcoin dropped under 900$ this morning. And I really don't know which factors provoked it. I expected the price will jump around 1000$ give or take couple tens of dollars, but no.

but as far as i can tell there is no specific month when it happens.
right now, wait for the volatility to stop and you can see an stable price again in a short time.
why would you want an stable price to buy? if you plan on hodling then buy now and if you play on day trading then again buy now! in both cases you can make profit!

- You can buy more at any price below $1000, if you are trying to hold bitcoin for long term
- Chinese economy have direct impact on bitcoin price till now but this may not last for long time

I think bitcoin will have stable price 2 weeks - 1 month after the Chinese New Year. Well, we still don't know about the price on that month, maybe around $800+. Chinese is not control bitcoin price, the one is have a pretty big impact is a person that many bitcoins. So when he sell all the coins, it will affect the bitcoins price.

No one really knows what month bitcoin will stablize but in my opinion it will stabilize 1-2 months from now at the price between 900$-500$ or maybe higher depending on the price movements that will happen. Chinese FYI don't have bitcoin's price under their control since it is decentralized. Also if you want to you can buy now and do short trades on the current pumps and dips.

the range you are mentioning is only $40 and about that amount is a normal stable price for bitcoin. however price is more volatile these days than just $40 with bigger swings.
also i have to say that volatile state has never lasted long, it always stops soon and becomes more stable, if you look at the charts the swings are also becoming smaller indicating the end of volatile price.

I think the price will top out at $1300 - $1500 within the next weeks and then decline to $600 - $700 over the next 2-3 months with the real blast off coming in the latter half of 2017   You're in the wrong place if you're seeking financial stability..

But when the times of volatility arrive, we can see these intense movements up or down that make very difficult to make a proper analysis about its future possibilities. So you need to be patient because this volatile behavior has lasted a whole month and I think a less volatile period is closer every day, and I hope to see a stable price around $950-1000.

Wow, He must be a millionaire so He has so many bitcoins to sell. I think this price will be stable at 950$ -1,000$ in this month.

it was $1160 peak $800 bottom, $900 stable, all this from a $700 pump, my gues is that we are increase on average by $200 per pump, so next one will be $1100 stable

Current movement of bitcoin is very unstable. there is always a price change quickly. especially now that bitcoin prices continue to decline, after a couple of months ago has increased. I would think that the price of bitcoin will always change at any time.

yep i agree but don't forget we know that china people have big btc in their wallet so they could manipulate the price, so if that person sold with the price of 1100 usd, i think its good as we see that the price is down and no one knows when the price will gets up.

i think the price is more than 800usd to be stable because for now the price is more than 900usd so i think its not getting down too far but lets we see what will be happen in the market.

The dip at $820 is a good price to buy, the current price will stable at $900-$950 for few days imo.
Looking at last year price chart, January-June are the time for stable price and a little bit fluctuate.
But we can't guess it right depend on last year, but if you want to buy more and hold for several months will be great, the price should be increasing.

What will according to you cause the massive up swing to $1300-$1500 where later it plummets with ~50%? Differeces are too extreme without anything severe happening such as another exchanges getting hacked. In my view, the price dropping to $600-$700 without a reason would be weird unless it's pure manipulation. But that's something you and I can not see coming. And yes, if you look for whatever form of stability, then people are indeed better off looking for stability elsewhere. But I think quite some people beside noobs and rookies are already aware of that.
