Bitcoin Can Hit $2K ?

I was surprised to find that BitCoin has climbed to just over $ 1,100 since about mid November, now it's slowly deflating again.  It'd be a hard sell to push the price up to $ 2,000 unless there was some serious money behind the scenes bankrolling any such climb.

I think the price needs to survive dropping to $ 750 in the short term and then build up in stages $ 250 at a time, otherwise sudden shocks in the system will drive the price back down.

It might be a quarterly thing to get to $ 2,000 by the end of the year, the bigger question is when will people stop trading BitCoin for fiat and use BitCoin in its place?

if the demand on bitcoin will be increased then it would be possible maybe more than $2 000 . but as we can see to the current price movements of bitcoin it is becoming quite stable so getting in to that price seems unlikely to happen although we still have several months to wait until this year ends . I am not very sure with this because it might become similar to what happened in the last month of 2016 but I am just relying on the current status of bitcoin .

Do you really think bitcoin will reach 10k dollar anytime soon, I think we first see a dump to around 500 dollar and than see an upwards trend to 2000 dollar at most. even 200$ is also hard to reach in early future. it must take another halving.

10k is a joke, 2k is more possible. I'll believe if the price of bitcoin will ever reach first at 2k and then after that then that's the right time to expect more increase. But the sad truth has been spoken, $200 is even more harder nowadays but who knows what can happen. Maybe that 10k will be reached after the next halving but as of now, I'll stick that it is possible to reach 2k within this year or again after 2018 new year's eve.

2k is a joke. Give me the reason why BItcoin can not hit $10000 in the future ? The China will soon return to make some investment in Bitcoin and cryptos and the prices will increase again. It is certain that the price will hit $2000 before June. Buy Bitcoin now all you will regret

Oh really? when did it hit $1500 and what exchange did that $1.5k have been made? Cos i have sell orders waiting at 1.3k polo but it didnt got filled until today.
your post doesn't even make any sense cos the next bitcoin halving might happen in the next 3 years during that duration maybe we would already surpassed the $2k value

bitcoin price is still pretty much unpredictable. and when you want to predict the exact time for a certain price to be reached it becomes that much harder. the only thing that we can tell is that price is on the rise and it is showing all signs of potential to go there but we can not tell if it is 1 year or 2.

What you say is very successful I think, because sometimes it is thought that the price will rise and then the opposite happens which leaves many perplexed so that as can go so high or can go much lower.

2,000 USD dollars is a big joke it can't be hit on the speculation of $1,500 Dollars it might be fall from the bottom investors bee ready for the big down comming it always happen when bitcoin hit big price every December it always down to next month or next next month. It can't continue increasing.

It is not a big deal to touch the price of bitcoin to 2000 dollars and even in this recent rally the coins reached 1200 dollar within no time and so the possibility of reaching 2000 by the end of this year is a real possibility as there are more regulations coming when it comes to regular investments which would really aid bitcoin.

I think it is 50/50.

Obviously there was a lot of hype when the new year came and the price was pumped up to over $1k and a lot of people were saying that bitcoin will go to $5k by the end of the year, or break the ATH in January.

Just keep a cool head, if you think that bitcoin is going to go to $2k then go for it and invest heavily. However don't be dumb and be caught in the dump.

It is possible but could fall after reaching  that new ATH. If bitcoin haven't seen any attempt at it months before the end of the year, it won't be stable if it reach that point, it would just end up like what happened this past days.  2k is not an easy goal, unless there is a great news and great improvement in bitcoin that could lift the price higher. Or there is a player who can manipulate the price.

Not only $2k before the end of 2017. But it will go up even higher ,im guessing  4k within the end of the year because of the increase on the demand and some merchants will already accept bitcoins  as one of their payment options.

There is no specific point that it will reach to 2000$, already bitcoin reached to 1100$+ in this year but to reach 2000$ mark it is quite long way. Once it reaches 2000$ defintely there will be down fall again to 1000$ immediately because only people who want hyip will try to make a pump on it and they will leave it.

we are all secretly hoping it and at this point most people are kind of desperate about it but the bright side is that $800+ seems to be a very strong support level and if in a month we can build on top of it and start increasing the price, then we can see $1000 be broken once again and this time become stable.

Lets just hope that it will... I too hope that it will reach such price, but if it is going to be bad for bitcoin and will shake its price stability, I'd like it to be just above $1000 each... Fast price increase would just result to at its point today... We can expect price increase during the next Christmas and New year, but I am sure that it won't reach 2k that easy...

Bit Coin Can Hit $2K? hello if I had this question 5 days before maybe I answered yes. Today things is different, 2 days before the price was 1000 today 887.8 . My answer is No , from my opinion price will be stable on 800$

The price trend always increases in the end of the year, $2000 is not impossible but $1500 will be fine as I don't expect too much.

We need to be patient and not triggered to panic sell if big whales cash out as recently occurred.

Bitcoin could have hit $2000 but it seems their are too many people pulling back the price whenever it exhibits some momentum by dumping..

I expect there will be a significant resistance around the 1.5k mark, as this will be a new significant high for people who bought right before the MTGox crash and have had to wait all this time to breakeven.

If these ppl have emotionnally survived until now, they may very well decide that 1.5k, +50% profit for most of them, is good enough and just sell their position and get rid of the emotional rollercoaster.
