i don't think so, it just went high too fast and of course it was dumped for profit, who dumped bought back and has established a new bottom

It was time for a correction.We had over 50% growth in less than a month!!
This ca not be sustainable!Therefore some profit taking which corrects the chart on a healthy level is the best what could had happen for more long term growth.
We still can reach 2000 and even more this year. So there is absolutely nothing you need to be disappointed about imo.

exactly, and when this happens, people who sold on top have gained a lot more profit so they have more money than they started with, and when prices came down those same people are going to buy back what they sold but this time with a lot more money.

Yes. But we don't know when would happened for Bitcoin reach $2K cap , recently we have seen Bitcoin's price is booming and touched $1000 . So we have a chance for see the bitcoin hit $2K soon, but I doubt in the short time after this event.

Hitting 2k dollars now after the pump and dips that happened in my opinion is somewhat possible but the chance of it happening is slim. Right now I feel like that the same things is happening all over again to bitcoin, it was the feeling of it being on the verge of a good dump but this time it might also happen otherwise and if that happens, bitcoin might hit 2k dollars if the same thing happened all over again like it was the last halving, we might experience another big dump like what happened before.

Well for me i think it is impossible that the price could be reach $2000 usd this year or before end of this year.. the possible price that it think we can touch is $1400-$1600 usd this is more chance that the price can be touch in this level if you can seen the movement price last year the price is highly increase when the block halving event nearly to end.. so this year there is no block halving event i think the price could not rise until $2000 value..

At this moment 2000$ isn't very likely. When Bitcoin was rapidly heading towards 1000$ many have thought that it will not be stopped until reaches 2000 or even more. But the price is corrected now and the next pump probably will not be so rapid in a short time. This price isn't impossible but not at this moment, not even in this year, we should wait longer.

   With recent drop I can just hope we will not drop even more, 2000$ seems far away in this moment and I dont wish to think about it, can we as community do something about the price?
   Its just an idea, can we make some transactions between us here, there is thousands of users here, everyone to make couple transactions and with that we can make million transactions in one hour or less, is it possible? My knowledge about block chain is not so good to know that.

No this is gonna be very hard, the bitcoin is gonna hit a high number but when and how that is the question of today.

If you ignore all pumps and dumps and just look at the long term charts, then you'll see that we have done a tremendous job. Basically the same will be the case when it comes to reaching the $2000 level. No guarantees of course, but if you keep holding your coins firmly, then you'll do a good job. If you have enough trading skills, then you can even increase the number of coins that you have in the meantime.

Price is trying to stay above $900 after this huge correction so i am pretty sure we will see price per coin above $2k by end of this year. If nothing bad will happen in future like any trading platform, bitcoin service etc get hacked than there is nothing that can stop price from pumping over $2k.

I guess you just forget about the selling pressure from the bitcoin whales and other bitcoiners who are all aiming for $1200 to $1500 price levels as target. Other than this, I am really afraid of those people who missed to book profits with recent rally, they might start selling once they see $1000+ levels. After withstanding these, bitcoin needs to be pumped to $2000, so it really needs 'enough' time.

Do you really think bitcoin will reach 10k dollar anytime soon, I think we first see a dump to around 500 dollar and than see an upwards trend to 2000 dollar at most. even 200$ is also hard to reach in early future. it must take another halving.

For me i don't throw away that possibility of 10k dollars because bitcoin nowadays is in demand to people who really believe that they will gain better profit and they hold it for investments. So many people would do that kind of investment strategy and hopefully it will make btc price rise towards 10k to make a history for better future.

Yeah definitely because there are people who use leverage to trade and if they don't dump quickly enough they won't be able to make a profit and pay back their loan. Obviously when there is hype there will be dumps, that is the harsh truth about such a speculative market.

But still, I think that $800-900 is now the new bottom and the price can slowly gain momentum again.

absolutely it's possible because we all witness that bitcoin actually reach $1200 per btc and thats a good start since 2015.  but expect a big drop down this coming days because its always like that since bitcoin started. better save money right now so you can buy many bitcoin when it decrease each price.
